Anyone who has GB drafting a TE just doesn't know what they are talking about. I could see them selecting a WR before they grab a TE in the 1st round. ::wink:
Rock- I will be so glad when you pick out your next avatar. This one really gives me a headache. I can see how someone who is epileptic could have a seizure after staring at it for very long. But don't change just because of me. I just stick my hand up and block it from my vision when it bothers me.

That's going to be a problem, as staring at this avatar is pretty much inevitable. If it's really annoying/bad, I'll change it in a short while. Lol.

Unless someone really falls, I do not see a tackle worth taking in the first round. And I do not see RB as a team need that hight in the draft. If I had to guess, I would say we go OLB, safety or CB in the first/second.

I think Clifton signs a team-favorable deal for one more year to finish his fine career with the team he was drafted by, and Tauscher for 2 years.

Lang is groomed to replace Tauscher or possibly Colledge in 2010 if GB does not retain him.

Might address LT in FA, however, which would allow emphasis on the missing pieces necessarry for the defense to perform against top tier QBs.

I am still sold on getting a left tackle (preferrably Bulaga). I watched that same highlite/lowlite video of him and it seems his pass pro can be better. His run blocking seems pretty phenomenal though.
I had high hopes of a good left tackle but it seems like all the left tackles would not be able to come in and have a Joe Thomas/Jake Long impact.

Oh well, up next on my list...a DB. We need depth at safety. If we draft a running back/tight end/wide receiver before anything I will be highly pissed off.

Bryan Bulaga/Charles Brown/Trent Williams, whomever falls to us, we should take him. I think it would be the best possible pick in the long run. Drafting an explosive skills positon player (Spiller etc.) won't do us any good.

Taylor Mays, Safety out of USC. The dude can play. His 40 time has been clocked at a sub 4.3. Plus the guy can hit. Just imagine having him and Nick Collins roaming back there. Any deep ball would be in danger of getting picked.

already been said but get the OL sorted out, we know the team can score points when rodgers is not on his ass

But a RB to share carries might be good
a WR as Driver i feel is on borrowed time

Exactly what I was thinking. I'd prefer a cover safety. Of course, he has to be able to tackle, but I'd prefer to have a Nick Collins back there, rather than a Roy Williams.

Collins is great in coverage and can tackle quite well. Roy Williams is great at tackling and playing in the box, but I'd rather have Nick Barnett play deep in a cover 2 than him.

I have approximately 50 "ifs" going simultaneously.

We need another safety. We need another cornerback. We are DEAD without a left tackle. We need heat opposite Clay at OLB. Will the Saints want to hold onto Jamaal Brown-Is he going to be healthy? What about Kampy and NO--- They are a 4-3...Can we tag and bag him to them for Jamaal? What about Penn? Tampa is grousing because he's a fat lazy SOB.

Will the Iowa LT be on the board, do we go up to get him? Do I want Brown, and if I do, do I want to keep Cliffy (yes, for a year, along with Tausch) Do I still want a FA LT (yes). Is Lang a RT or a LG. I think LT, but I want to really see if he's a LG. What do I want them to pay to retain Colledge (that inconsistent c#cks...) Why does everyone think Spitz is so friggin' great? Is he any good? Is it true that Ted Thompson really likes Taylor Mays as our 1st round pick? Is this punter we signed any good? How long until Bush and Kapinos are sent packing, if ever? Does our offensive line coach suck? Does he suck as much as our ST coach? (some off-topic shit in there, lol) Will Ted Thompson and Pickett come to an agreement? We need more safeties than we think we do. How many more friggin' times do we have to go to the GD well for yet another f#cking LB when all we have for coaches and personnelmen is LB zealots, for God's sake?

These are a couple of things I need to mull when I start thinking about that 23rd pick. :thumbleft:

Martha Careful (17h) : thank you Mucky for sticking up for me
Martha Careful (17h) : some of those people are smarter than you zero. However Pete Carroll is not
Mucky Tundra (21h) : Rude!
beast (21h) : Martha? 😋
Zero2Cool (24-Jan) : Raiders hired someone from the elderly home.
dfosterf (24-Jan) : I'm going with a combination of the two.
beast (24-Jan) : Either the Cowboys have no idea what they're doing, or they're targeting their former OC, currently the Eagles OC
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Fake news. Cowboys say no
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Mystery candidate in the Cowboys head coaching search believed to be Packers ST Coordinator Rich Bisaccia.
beast (23-Jan) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (23-Jan) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you
wpr (22-Jan) : Z, glad you are feeling better.
wpr (22-Jan) : My son and D-I-L work for UM. It's a way to pick on them.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (22-Jan) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
