Third round compensatory picks go usually for high contract free agents like Albert Haynesworth.

Haynesworth started 12 games
Cole started 15 for the Seahawks

Both had 29 solo tackles, Haynesworth 8 assists and Cole 19 assists.

Haynesworth had 4 sacks and Cole had 0.
Haynesworth blocked 5 passes and cole 2.

Cole signed a 5 year 21 million deal with 5 million guaranteed.
Haynesworth signed a 7 year 100million contract with 41 million guaranteed.

The Packers did not sign a significant free agent from another team. So there is no offset.

So if the Titans are likely to get a 3rd round compensatory for Haynesworth, shouldn't the Packers get a 4th or 5th round compensatory pick?

I'm hopeful for a 4th round compensatory pick but I cannot see it being worth less than a 5th.

Anyone see it differently?
