So, er, how's Rodgers doing?

Don't want to derail the thread but over at PFT I found this comment which I found rather hilarious:

"All the Favre lovers are out in force because the universe lined up just right in Week 4 with Rodgers injury and Favres 6 TDs."

I watched that game. It was like the Cards gave the Jets a freebee. What was wrong with them in that game? Way to many missed assignments. Receivers were wide open all day. I could have thrown for at least 5 TDs. Crazy game.

Yes. AR is a fine QB. He'll do well as a Packer.

I don't think it's fair to compare him to the best QB who ever played the game. Let AR be AR .

Compared to AR 's generations of QB, I can't think of anyone I'd trade him for off the top of my head. Thinking...

Nah. Nah. And Nah.

I'm glad we have AR .

BTW, if the Jets end this season with a 10-6 record and land a Playoff spot and BF throws for 40+ TDs, BF may have his 4th MVP. How cool would that be? :thumbright:

I'm keeping an eye on that Flacco kid in Baltimore. I liked the way he played in Pittsburgh Monday night. I wish they had given him a chance to run the 2-minute drill there at the endof regulation.

Good teams don't let the WR open down field consistently through a game.

Aaron didn't play the Lions, the Packers did. Just like the Jets played the Cardinals, not just Brett.

Let's not forget that Brett Favre is only a legend, icon, NFL veteran of 17+ years and Aaron is just staring his first NFL season on the field.

Nah... lets just continue to compare them.

Actually, if you look at BF 's deeper TD passes that game.

1) the CB fell down and was injured and left Coles wide open.
2) BF did an outstanding job of faking out the Safety and Coles was one on one with the CB. Coles beat him, BF exploited it. Great job on BF 's and Coles' parts.

The other four were shorter passes, but BF kept hammering and hammering until they got close and BF threw them in for the score.

Any time a QB gets 6 TDs against an NFL team, it's a huge deal. I'll take nothing away from BF that game. Look at the other 3 games. They only allowed 2 total TD passes, then BF comes along and dings them for 6.
