So they showed this during the game-

The 2009 Packers are the 2nd team in the history of the NFL to have a 4000 passer, a 1200 yard rusher, and two 1000 receivers. Obviously the skill players get the lion's share of the credit for that, but that just does not happen if the OL is as bad as many think they are/were this year.

The OL is plenty good enough to win in the playoffs, as evidenced by the consistent production of the offense all year long. If our defense can keep the opposition from scoring 30 points or more, the Packers have a great shot at winning any game.

Four teams scored 30 points or more on our defense this year (Minnesota did it twice). The Packers went 0-5 in these games. That represents every single loss for the season.

So yes, 30 points seems to be an important threshold.

You missed the fact that the record was for TWO YEARS IN A ROW.

'08 and '09 the Packers had a 4000+ QB, 1000+ RB, and two 1000+ WR's.

I deny that they were as bad as advertised. I think they were performing poorly, and were the weakest link in a relatively strong chain, and that gets exaggerated into "OMG most extra super worstest OL ever". Yes, I know they gave up a ton of sacks, but that was partially on the QB too, and the offense was still very productive, averaging 27 points in the 7 games before Tausher took his first snap against Tampa Bay. So yes, I deny that they were terrible. I'd go with "below average".

Yep. I missed that. I was watching in a bar with all the games on, lotsa beer and no audio volume for the Packer game.

Two years in a row, so even better, right? This OL has been criticized strongly both years.

It just amazes me how productive this O is despite our OL being so bad.

So...

We are no longer alone at #1 in sacks allowed. Pitts is tied with us. And they won the SB last year with that crappy OL.
