Jackson - 5.1 YPC
Grant - 3.4 YPC

I'd almost prefer Jackson in there now on running downs. Neither of them are seeing what they want to see from the O-line, but Jackson at least has stayed up after the first tackler and has shown more of a burst.

That's what I'm saying. Ryan Grant looks horrible in there, and we're busting the wrong guy's chops. Jackson at least runs for some yards.

Yes, Jackson can't catch a football nor block an incoming tackler.

If I were Mike McCarthy , I'd demote Grant to 3rd down back and start Jackson until Grant starts living up to his paycheck. Jackson is getting us some yardage, Grant's getting us nothing. But Grant can block.

Jackson's looked a fair sight better than Grant to this point, IMO. He's running hard and his fundamentals are sound (aside from that pitiful attempt at catching that pass on Sunday, that was awful). He needs to work on his patience, but that's something that comes w/ reps. He's also as screwed by the OL play as Grant is, but he's made more out of what he's been getting so far.

I'd like to see him start and get a majority of the snaps against ATL, Grant's salary be damned.

That's the thing. Screw the salary, let's win some football games. Right now, Brandon Jackson is running better than Ryan Grant.

Grant needs to earn his job back. He hasn't impressed me this year at all. And yeah, both are playing behind the same bad OL.

Brandon Jackson has not been getting enough opportunities to run the ball. So lets relax with all the Brandon Jackson=Disappoinment stuff

Valid point, but still, why not at least give him some chances on 1st and 2nd down?

And, his touchdown run in the Lions game wasn't third and super long. It was a very clutch run.
