The site works fine in Safari, I use it all the time. Albeit I use Safari 4 on OS X 10.6.

So the version I have is the issue. The PHLight works fine, but PHDark has a bunch of deep blue and red font all over the place, lol.

Yeah, early versions of Safari sucked, but it's come a long way. I used to hate Macs, but they've also come a long way and now IMHO I think they have way more useful features than Windows - that's why I switched almost a 1.5 years ago.

P.S. You can always use Browsershots.org to test what the site looks like in other environments.

Checking out the link now.

I've never hated Mac's, but I like the versatility I have with a Windows machine. I know quite a bit about them and how to cater it to my needs. I also liked Linux for the brief time I experimented with it, but not enough resources out there for me. I'm fearing Mac is in the same boat. Somethings just don't make sense with the Mac, but that could be predicated on my ignorance too.

Just like any other OS or program, there's a learning curve. If you stick with it, you'll know how to do everything.

The one complaint I have about Macs though, is the fact that there are so few games and other applications I crave for it. And no, I don't want to have to use bootcamp to dual-boot. If I want to run windows, I'll run windows and not pay twice as much for the computer. There are very few Apple/Mac only programs that I crave, and all of those are games designed for System 7, and I can simply emulate in this case. Although gemulator is a bitch.

I'm going to be using the Mac for learning and multimedia. I'm going to see how well it does with video. The thing is, will it create video's that can be viewed by windows?

Depends upon the application you're using and the format you're saving in.

Apple's .mov format sucks, but pretty much all Windows PCs have quicktime nowadays so compatibility should be there.

Hmm, I wonder how a .mov would play on the site.

I'll be getting "Leopard" next week from a co-worker and I'll again try to use my G5 mac.

Kind of excited again.
