You could buy a used copy of the operating system here  and reinstall it from scratch. You won't be able to upgrade to the latest version of OS X (Leopard?) because it doesn't support the PowerPC platform.

I have absolutely no qualms about torrenting in some circumstances - For example, I was fixing up a computer of a family friend when I realized that their XP Home CD Key on the computer was an HP OEM CD key. So, after reinstalling windows with a vanilla XP Home CD, it wouldn't accept the CD key. I torrented an HP XP Home CD, unfortunately that was for SP3 and this CD key didn't work with SP3, apparently. So, I torrented a corporate version of XP. They owned a copy of windows, I couldn't reinstall the copy they had with their CD key since I didn't have the original HP CD (which was never provided to them).

In this case, just torrent a disc image for 10.3.5. You already own the computer and the copy of the OS that's on the computer, you shouldn't need to drop 80 bucks on a new CD. They already got their money once.

How does Safari suck? It's actually standards compliant, which is more than you could say for IE until very recently. If a website doesn't render well in Safari, it's because there's something wrong with the site's code, not with Safari itself.

This site works fine in FireFox and IE (which I dont like).

It also doesn't treat video embedding to well. I think this is more so my version (1.2.3) that is the issue more than Safari.
