Thanks all.. just what I needed tonight..

Yesterday was a long day... surgery went pretty well.. worst was the nerve block they put into my leg... I was just waking up and still not all with it.. he was lucky or I might have swung at him. lol.

Very difficult moving from wheel chair to either the couch or what not.. starting this morning my neck has gotten very stiff and sore. Definately the worst pain current with the nerve block still in the leg.

I have a green cast on.. still pissed about the whole wheelchair thing.. but so many have it worse than I do.. so I really am not going to complain about it all.

Bummer of a way to spend my birthday tomorrow.. but a Packer win will be make alot of that disappear.

Today was the first pain free day in over 7 months as far as my leg goes.. call it a relief.

Again... thanks all.. and I will try to spend some more time on here tomorrow..

Glad to hear you are doing well after the operation! I know it won't be easy, having to stay down and all, but once you heal you will be VERY happy you got it done!

I asume you're back home, so at least you can spend some time with the family on your birthday. Always better than laying in some hospital.

Now that you have all this time on your hands, let's put it to good use.

Just pretend that you are trying to come up with a real good excuse to roll out of your house, drink beer and shoot some breeze and pool with your friends prior to gametime. Further pretend that the bar opens at 11:00.

NOW pretend that the beer stores open at noon. With all this idleness, you should be able to come with one hell of a good reason to not only shoot the pool and drink the beer, but also be able to roll in with a case for the afternoon's festivities...
