You would think with Rodgers not being as mobile, defenses will be expecting McCarthy to use the run game more. They won't be expecting many roll out pass plays. That would likely mean, they are playing LBers and probably S closer to the box to protect against Lacy.

That would open up passing holes in the secondary or Jordy and Cobb and probably our TEs.

If I was McCarthy, I would have Aaron under center almost every play, feeding Lacy and setting up hard play action. Also being under center Rodgers should have a quicker throw on those quick slants we have seen as of late.

Not being able to do what they always do, will make McCarthy think more about the play calling and hopefully get back some of the creativity that has been lacking.

It did work on AR's one run in the second half. (More of a jog, really) that got a 1ST down.
Alot depends on how healed he really is by game time.
If he was really healed up well, I wouldn't let on to the media. Make him look wounded so the opponent doesn't expect him to run around. Then you can use it when they least expect it.
(It's not like the Packers are open as far as status anyway, right?)

Tolzien actually looked good when he was allowed to play fundamentally sound football by throwing deep occasionally to keep the D's honest. But Mike wouldn't allow that too much. He got predictable, with predictable results.

Matt then came in and played solid football within the system. He did pretty well.

I think this may very well force Aaron and Mike to quit stat whoring and play for real. That said, I think Aaron will have some mobility.
