He has not improved at all. Seriously solid coverage? Solid game? The guy he was supposively covering had 8 catches EIGHT CATCHES!! Going into that game this Bears player had 6 catches in his career!!!

As I just rewatched the game, I have to reply on this one.

Just to sum up the catches of Aromashodu:

1st catch: 1st and 10 for 7 yds (Barnett covered him)
2nd catch: 1st and 19 for 8 yds (Bigby covered him)
3rd catch: 1st and 10 for 10 yds (Williams covered him)
4th catch: 3rd and 9 for 19 yds (great throw by Cutler, very tight coverage by Bush, stopped him immediately after the catch)
5th catch: 1st and 10 for 9 yds (Woodson got burned, Bigby with the tackle)
6th catch: 1st and 10 for 10 yds (Woodson got burned for the TD)
7th catch: 2nd and 8 for 7 yds (Bush covered him, no YAC)
8th catch: 3rd and 1 for 6 yds (Bush covered him, quick pass, Bush got him immediately)

You really cannot blame Bush for Aromashodus career day, Bush did a good job in coverage. Additionally he had a great open field tackle against Forte in the 1st quarter.

Well, I'm glad people like his coverage so much. Can't wait til the playoffs (hopefully) when we face a team with a decent receiving corps and everyone can see howgood Bush really is.

Sorry for the negativity, but this is really the only subject of the Packers I can't stand. Bush has been a less than average player for three years and he is still here.

Again, I love the Pack, but I HATE how Bush plays and that he is still here.

this is the exact type of post in a thread like this which deserves a +1. imo, it is the only post in this thread after the debating which deserves an applause.

now look, i'm not a fan of Bush...but our secondary has ALWAYS been a high-risk/high-reward type of secondary. i feel like year after year i'd watch Harris get beat like you all claim about Bush, but we've come to respect Harris because of how he plays the game. a casual observer only sees the mistakes. maybe some of you who are freaking out are actually being a bit too casual. the kid hasn't been utilized in the position he's playing for long or often and i see improvements. does he scare me? yes. does he scare me more than Harris in deep coverage? no. does he scare me more than MasonfuckingCrosby lately? no. does he scare me about as much as Rodgers late habit of balls appearing to have no target at all? or Tramon's million flags the other night? yes. but if that's the worst i'm feeling about a player i'll take it. at least for the rest of this season i will.

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.

Bush should not be a starter...we need more in the Secondary.

The simple fact that people are rushing to Bush's defense this game is a testament to the fact that he really has perhaps improved in coverage.

I'm not sold on Bush being a reliable nickel or dime corner; I think Pat Lee or Underwood will fill that role next season. However, if he continues to improve, then there's nothing more to ask for from him.
