I'm not scared i have my permit to carry my pistol, plus i have seen alot of closet Packer fans come out when they see me wearing my Packer gear, usually they ask where they can get it because their kids are Packer fans lol.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Isn't Dhazer the guy that was telling all of us that the Steelers organization is THE example of how the Packers should be run? (Along with his shitty examples?, lol--funnin' ya, Dave)

I don't go to 3 rivers, so I will not speak to the safety of a Pack fan in gear, but I will confirm that a lot of Steeler fans pick the Pack as their "2nd team"

They think we roll like they do, as a team, and a fanbase. Dhaze was always on to something in that department, he just:

A- Had it backwards, they aspire to roll like us, not the other way around :thumbleft:

B- Confuses the fact that he is probably even more whack when talking to Steeler fans than he is when talking to Packer fans, coupled with a way too broad generalization of how ALL Steeler fans would act when confronting a "normal" Packer fan, as contrasted to HIM.

While all of the above is meant in TOTAL jest, I did just hear that there were riots in Pittsburgh the other day when they discovered that Danika Patrick was going to be allowed into one of "their" NASCAR racecars--- those necks have "rules", so you better factor that into your apparel equation...

I might be jesting about that also.

Pennsylvania is just like Wisconsin, except they have hills (and too many pizza joints, at least in one town). They call the hills mountains, but in the vernacular of many around here regarding those mountains...

"child, please."

Lol. Be safe, Dave.

Luckely this isn't a real rivalry. I wonder what they'd do to the guys who are wearing Browns jerseys this week. All out brawl?

I have alot of fun around Johnstown with people you saw the stickers on my jeep the Packer guy pissing on the Steelers or i'll wear a Chad Johnson jersey when they play the Bengals. I haven't really seen alot of violent Stiller fans but then again they were also winning since i been out here so now lets see how many are true fans and still back there team lol.

I never said we should run our team like the Steelers they don't do much in free agency either and they keep their coaches way to long. I hope Capers stays in GB as long as Dickie has stayed in Pittsburgh

Well, it just shows you, you can fall off the mountain top pretty quick.
They have had a bad year. But they could be right back on top next year.
Thats the NFL for you.

On their forums someone had predicted before the season that they wouldn't make the playoffs because of their 3 year cycle. 2 good years and then a dumper. I have to say though, going from SB Champ to losing 5 in a row the next season, only happened once before, that's fairly monumental.

Let's just say "the stars alligned" for them on both their last two Super Bowl championships. They had pretty much the same crappy O-line last year. If Harrison doesn't make that incredible play right before half time, they get rolled by the Cards.

What is still amazing to me is that they won the SuperBowl in the first place.

A lot of people hate on Big Ben, me included much of the time...

I still say that their accomplishment was quite amazing, and Big Ben is the reason why they were able to win it.

I know they had a fantastic defense, and I know the truism is, "defense wins championships", but there is one small rub to that truism...

It was invented in the first place by a defensive coordinator bucking for a promotion (semi-kidding, but not an original one-liner) ...and someone give me an example of one other team that was able to win a Superbowl with a bad, and I mean bad...offensive line. They did it. I have to give props to Ben for that.

They thought they could get away with getting rid of Faneca, and for a year...a magical year...they did. It was magical because his loss broke the straw on that o-line's back, and it was obvious then, and it is now VERY obvious.

My bottom line?

I am not surprised by the unprecedented nature of that 5 game losing streak and their apparent collapse this year. The recipe was in place.

It also didnt help losing there playmaker on defense that actually turned them into a normal defense not a great defense. They have alot of fighting right now amongst their stars (Ward and Ben) Ward had to play hurt last night even though it probably hurt the team (playcalling really hurt them) because how could he call out Ben the week before and turn around and not play last night. But all in all i love it down with the Stillers.

beast (3h) : What is he supposed to say? He doesn't want players currently on the team?
Martha Careful (7h) : meh
Zero2Cool (11h) : Sounds like Walker and Wyatt will be with Packers for beyond 2026
Zero2Cool (11h) : It's so awesome.

wpr (14h) : Only 4
Zero2Cool (17h) : If only we had a topic to read about and discuss it. That's something new website must have!!!
dfosterf (18h) : Justice Musqueda over at Acme Packing put up an excellent synopsis of the Packers 1st round options this am
wpr (19-Apr) : 5 days
beast (18-Apr) : 6 days
wpr (17-Apr) : 7 days
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : sounds like Packers don't get good compensation, Jaire staying
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Nobody coming up with a keep, but at x amount
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (16-Apr) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (16-Apr) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (16-Apr) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Jalen Ramsey wants to be traded. He's never happy is he?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : two 1sts in 2022 and two 2nd's in 2023 and 2024
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers had fortunate last three drafts.
dfosterf (15-Apr) : I may have to move
dfosterf (15-Apr) : My wife just told the ancient Japanese sushi dude not enough rice under his fish
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I think a dozen is what I need
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Go fund me for this purpose just might work. A dozen nurses show up at 1265 to provide mental health assistance.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Maybe send a crew of Angels to the Packers draft room on draft day.
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : what
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : The manner in which he won it was just amazing and wonderful. First blowing the lead then getting back, then blowing it. But ultimately
Zero2Cool (12-Apr) : I'm guessing since the thumb was broken, he wasn't feeling it.
dfosterf (10-Apr) : Looking for guidance. Not feeling the thumb.
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : If they knew about it or not
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : I don't recall that he did which is why I asked.
