I was talking about the weather within the context of Favre's late season collapses not cold weather play in general. For whatever reason you've fixated on just the weather ever since despite my repeated protests that you misunderstood what I was talking about and weren't even who I was originally talking to. You grabbed data that was for cold weather regardless of when in the season it happened. On top of that you based your original argument on Favre playing badly in two dome games that were in fact December home games at Lambeau. I don't know how else to explain it to you. Maybe Zero can help since he understood it and agreed with me.

Favre looked as bad Sunday as I've seen him in a Viking uniform. But he didn't look near as bad as "bad, gunslinging Favre" has been known to look late in the season in recent years.

He needs to regress a lot more before the December collapse a lot of us hope for from the Vikings will occur.

If I were a Viking fan, I'd be more worried about the OL injuries. That's what might trigger the Purple Collapse.

Excellent point and +1. The whole equation changes if their line gets banged up. If they can't get their run game going, we're going to see a lot more of what we saw this week.

I'm almost willing to bet that this will be more the reason for a collapse .

Seriously. For the past 4 seasons I've been calling for McKinney to be traded. This is why. He changed his stance a bit to make up for his stone feet (remember how speed rushers would blow by him ALL the time?.. Not this year).

If he's tipping off defenses as to what kind of play is called (run/pass), it'll make for a lot more games like this past Sunday night's..

And I said I apologized for taking the wrong two games!!! that was the initial issue I had with your weather plays a part in his collapse..

When you pointed out that I MADE A MISTAKE I was ready to drop it and case closed..

You should have never mentioned weather cuz as it has been said the top tier q.b I searched, either had such a minimum drop, or performed better in the cold

2nd half is an entire different thing and I AGREE with your 2nd half argument..

Just not WEATHER causing it

I'll give it an 100% chance that his play suffers. I've never been a fan of McKinney. I've always rooted for him to do well, but because I didn't want my team's QB to get blind sided, not for McKinney's career.

If I had my choice, I would have traded him during his prime years ago for some picks. He was good trade bait.

Not to mention it would have been nice to get him off the Vike's books.

My 2nd half argument involves the weather being the major factor among several other factors. How can you agree with me if you don't agree with what I'm basing the argument on? If you don't think the weather is a factor, then how do you explain the fall off in the 2nd half? Not being an ass here, just genuinely interested in how you explain the 2nd half data for all those QBs.

That's the type of stuff that shows up on film, but is hard to quantify with stats. That's a nightmare scenario when your season falls apart because someone is tipping plays. Do they have the internet in Minnesota? Is there a chance the Vikings won't find out? 😃
