Great news!

Rodgers is tough, I didn't expect him to miss the game even with a seperated shoulder.

Thank goodness we play the Falcons. If we can't run it down their throats, the coaches and Ted should be really worried. This should be McCarthy's chance to play more to his preached philosophy of run first.

Ok, so if our run D sucks how about Michael Turner & Jerious Norwood. Yeah... we're pretty much f**ked if Aaron isn't 100%.

First off, great to hear the Rodgers "seems" to be doing okay and can play.

Secondly -- you have to figure that Turner and Norwood will get their yards (in the same way that you'd have figured Tennessee would get their run yards against even Minnesota yesterday -- their run game is just too solid). But that said, I think it will come down to pass defense. Roddy White is a playmaker, and Michael Jenkins has shown some signs of playing to his ability. The play-fake is a basic part of football. If they get their yards running, we just have to make sure we don't let it cripple our pass defense. Best way to achieve that? Pressure on the [rookie] quarterback.

I think getting Bigby back for this game would be a HUGE boost.

I think our CBs can single cover the Falcons WRs, which should allow 8-men in the box to better our struggling run D.

If ever there was a time when Bob Sanders was going to try and confuse the opposing QB with new blitz schemes, this is it. Rookie QB, no better time to throw out any Aces up your sleeve that you may have.

The Packers must use this game as a showing of their true ability: be an explosive Offense with a D that can be amongst the top 10 in the league.

I believe in the Pack. More so than I did in Harvey Dent. 😃
