I know we don't wanna compare Brett and Arod but Favre played with a broken thumb and did great... theres gotta be a needle they can shoot in there that will allow him to feel no pain for 4 quarters... its just if he's willing to do it and he's tough enough to handle the pain

Brett did not do great. He was gutsy but very below avg in his performances for several of the games. There were many times I wished he would have done one of two things.
1. Been a man and admitted he at 70% was not as effective as Pederson and ended his consecutive game string.
2. Admitted that he cared about the string and played the 1st series then let Pederson come in and take his place.
His best games after the injury were later in the year after he had time to adjust to the thumb injury and coincidentally against weaker teams.
