Rodgers' injury: Shoulder bruise
The initial diagnosis of Aaron Rodgers' injury is a bruised throwing shoulder, coach Mike McCarthy said after today's game.

The Packers' starting quarterback no doubt will be examined further upon the team's return to Green Bay this evening.

Rodgers missed one series in the second half, a three-and-out after which Tampa Bay drove for the winning field goal. He finished 14-for-27 for 165 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions.

McCarthy did not immediately provide additional information on the other players who left today's game, including safeties Nick Collins and Aaron Rouse and defensive lineman Cullen Jenkins.

UPDATE: Rodgers said he thinks the shoulder is separated but isn't sure. Again, tests will occur tonight or Monday morning.

Lets hope it is a short term injury. It really got scary out there with Flynn directing the game.

It's obvious Flynn isn't ready to go against Green Bay West High school.

We had NO running game, our great WR's coupdn't seem to get open........yet the other team runs great, WR's get open.
What the hell is up with that???

Even if the WR got open, Rodgers didn't have time to get them the ball.

To me it seemed he tried to stay in the pocket too long too.

We had good news with Harris' injury not being season ending, maybe we'll get a good prognosis on Rodgers. For all the talk about how confident they were in their QBs coming into the season, they sure didn't look confident having Flynn back there.

Hopefully it's not too bad. I don't see how it could be, considering that he threw a really good TD pass after the injury and he eventually came back into the game.

Flynn was scary. His first pass was wormburner and he later threw a really bad one that was intended for Driver over the middle and was way behind him.

hey now give flynn some time after all thats what everyone was saying about Rodgers. I had to leave so i didnt get to see the rest of the game until just now ( gotta love the dvr) and it appears Rodgers hurt his shoulder when he scrambled.
Well i guess we won't see Ted Thompson prancing around anytime soon, maybe he better pick up the phone and call Dante and beg and plead.

Oh and im getting tired of people blaming the o-line remember its the same line as last year. I blame alot on the play calling.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Mucky Tundra (5h) : He hasn't been too bad when healthy but I don't feel like I ever heard much about when he is
Zero2Cool (6h) : Felt like he was more interested in his body, than football. He flashed more than I expected
Zero2Cool (6h) : When he was coming out, I thought he'd be flash in pan.
Mucky Tundra (7h) : Joey seems so forgettable compared to his brother for some reason
Zero2Cool (7h) : NFL informed teams today that the 2025 salary cap will be roughly $277.5M-$281.5M
Zero2Cool (11h) : Los Angeles Chargers are likely to release DE Joey Bosa this off-season as a cap casualty, per league source.
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : If the exploit is not fixed, we'll see tons of "50 top free agents, 50 perfect NFL team fits: We picked where each should sign in March" lo
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : Issue should be solved, database cleaned and held strong working / meeting. Boom!
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : It should be halted now.
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : usually spambots are trying to get traffic to shady websites filled with spyware; the two links being spammed were to the Packers website
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : you know when you put it that way combined with the links it was spamming (to the official Packers website)
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : Yep. You can do that with holding down ENTER on a command in Console of browser
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : even with the rapid fire posts?
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : I'm not certain it's a bot.
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : I've got to go to work soon which is a pity because I'm enthralled by this battle between the bot and Zero

Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : lol good question, kind of impressed!

Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : I thought Guests couldnt post?
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : And gosh that's gonna be fun to clean up! hahaa

Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : What?
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : Is the Packers online game "Packers Predict" now available for 2024? I can't tell

packerfanoutwest (11-Feb) : or did you resctrict access to that topic?
