cant figure him out these days, how come he has become so inconsistant these days, anything 50 + i cringe,i was confident in him during his rookie days but not anymore, just hope he comes through down the stretch because i think a win will come down to him before long !!

I like him. Like you said he was very good his rookie year. He has had a little slump, but I think hes recovered now. Hes got a really strong leg, and its nice to have after we had longwell for so many years.

Three NFL kickers have attempted 5 or more field goals from 50 yards or more. They are Josh Scobee (2-6), Ryan Succop (2-5), and Mason Crosby (1-5). What exactly are you complaining about?

Exactly people he doesn't hit from 50 plus and suddenly he is not automatic. Accuracy tends to fade as the more power you have to apply. Think about golf the more you try toi kill it the more you screw it up. The effort from 50 is expotentionally greater than from 15. That's why he shanks em from that far out.
The more power to the leg the more the mechanics shift the more eratic the shot.
I am therefor I think.

That's the thing, ya know.

Crosby has enough leg to make it from 60 on some of his 50 yard attempts. He should learn to dial it down a bit and take a good hack at it instead.

He got them from NFL Stats.... It is right there.

Now he did not mention that SeaBass ( Janakowski Oakland) and Kris Brown (Houston) were both 2 for 2 and 100% from beyond the 50.

(Nonstop took a number of Attemps of 5 or more over 50 yrds.)

Which is a fair number to draw a conparison from.
