:pukeright: Can anyone explain why Murphy, Thompson & McCarthy should not be replaced now? When a team faces a 0 & 7 team playing a rookie QB and looks like they are playing to lose one has to expect changes. Yeah!! I know, omn any given Sunday, but GB has had far too many of these horrible performances over the past two years now and only a cockeyer optimist can find any part of thei game that smacks of good performances. At least whoever replaces the Three Stooges will half a season to start developing a winning team.

I would like to see Ted Thompson replaced asap so the new GM could get the pulse of this team and have a running start heading into next year.

The biggest reason is McCarthy.

His play calling IMO is terrible, His laid back attitude is costing us. The players are grown men, but still need to be kicked in the rump now and then, and McCarthy is not the man to do that.

Ted, IMO he can get the job done, I am overall happy with his drafts. The Oline is a problem, but when you HC changes what he is doing in the middle of trying to build something, it makes it hard. In business, somebody changes what they are doing like that they are charged big time change fees.

Drop McCarthy, and see what happens. I don't want to see the entire team changed.

agreed 100% PFWT. The majority of this team was brought in by Ted Thompson and few will argue that this team has talent (outside of the O-line). I'm not saying he's perfect, but I also do not see T.T. as the source of the problem.

If you're going to make a change, do it in the offseason. If you're going to make a change, make sure you can hire someone better than you have now.

You do have a good point but I still don't see Thompsons overall philosophy building a better than average team.
Ted has hit on a few in the draft over 5 years but overall I consider his drafting below average.
