It's so obvious it doesn't need to be said, but the failure in resigning the great Daryn Colledge was a huge gaff on the part of Ted Thompson. We can not have a discussion about personnel mistakes in the 2011 off season without that being mentioned.

A month ago- Dfosterf:

This is not a championship team. Not Anymore.

The defense has to get so much better. It is awful.

And now, Our o-line is a complete friggin' wreck.

It's been fun, but let's get real.

Coming into this season, the Packers had lost 6 consecutive overtime games dating back to the 2007 NFC Championship game, making Mike McCarthy the first coach ever to lose 6 OT games with a single team and Aaron Rodgers the only quarterback ever to lose 5 straight OT games with the same team. That streak continued this season, with the Packers falling to the Giants in OT, bringing McCarthy's streak to 7 and Rodgers' to 6. Both streaks are unprecedented.

I really think Capers should have moved Matthews to the blind side when it was obvious that he was pretty much the only source of pressure. It doesn't make any sense to have your only consistent pass rush coming from the side that makes him more easily avoided. It's fine when there is more than one guy on the team capable of getting to the QB but Clay was beating guys all year only to have the QB see him and throw the ball away or run away from him.

I think the most interesting part was actually the bit about some of Hawk's teammates thinking he should not be starting.

Wow, so the only time Mike McCarthy's team (as Head Coach) won an over time, it was ended with a Brett Favre pass to Greg Jennings over the Denver Broncos.

2007 loss by FG to Giants in NFC Championship game
2008 loss to both Titans and Bears by a FG each
2009 loss to Cardinals in Wild Card game by a fumble return for TD
2010 loss to Redskins and Dolphins by a FG each

Damn, so that's what, 1 - 6 in overtime for Mike McCarthy? I'll keep this in mind for the next overtime game. I'll shut my TV off immediately as the outcome is predetermined.

...What we hope for...We mostly talk about the "get" and "got", personnel-wise.

...And what we expect...This is Ted and Mike land, mostly...

The essence of our site, when you combine the actual results.

All in all, we have it pretty good, for 2012... Not talkin' Packers- talkin' US.

Love you guys, carry on.

🤣
