My opinion, Brett will be pressing to win this game more so than even the first game in MN... I think that will lead to him making rash throws at times.. especially if we keep AP in check again early.

That and playing on natural grass will impact this game..

I just don't see it. Since 2006, when we finished 8-8, Favre has played his smartest football of his life. The only game I remember him imploding like the Brett of old was that Cowboys game in 2007, like week 12 or so. This isn't the Favre of 1999 or 2003 when he would get nervous and heave a bunch of balls up for grabs. If he has protection, he will hit the open man and Vikings win. The only chance the Packers have, other than some funny bounces or luck is that Capers and the Packer defense has a great performance. Other than that, it will be more of the first game and probably a wider margin.

Dunno about that. Derrick Martin was repeatedly out of position in that game. I don't even think he knew the defense. Favre picked the secondary apart, because there were large spaces left open. Also, this prevented Capers from being able to blitz effectively.
But Bigby's back this time.
How's Antoine Winfield's foot coming along?

Packers will need to intercept Favre a couple times to clinch this one. Minnesotans found out last game about the heartbreak of the game changing fumble and the game losing interceptions that Favre provided for the Packers fans for 15 or so years.

Eh, can't be worse than Gary Anderson missing his first FG of the year in the NFC Championship game.

Or having a QB that has an MVP year (Culpepper), yet still can't manage to do anything in the playoffs.

Or any other sort of heartbreak we've endured throughout the years.. Favre could throw the REST of the season, and it still wouldn't affect me like the other choke jobs have.

It will be a blowout. I already said 37-24, but a lot of Vikings points will be when the game is pretty much over.

The thing is, I gotta work on Formo's avatar.

Now the game I'm actually worried about is us vs either the Vikings or the Saints in the Playoffs. Playing the Vikings here, we'll win. Playing there, I think they'd win. I still don't think we can beat the Saints though.

ok so now that we beat the Lions (which had a 3rd string qb and missing their stud wr) and Browns we are back to being a great team spare me. I see AP lighting up the Packers this time around.

Of course, in New Orleans, the Saints are amazing. That's the best home field advantage going right now IMO and has been for four seasons now.

Reading some of these posts confirms that both sides are so overconfident. You have Favre fans predicting blowout and you have Packer fans predicting blowout. It should be a fairly close game. These teams know each other way to well. I think I'll attempt to work some of this overconfidence into my Packer Fix this week.
