Tauscher and Clifton, and Lang and Barbre rotated at tackles. Will probably keep Vikings guessing whole week. Green ahead of Jackson now.

I am curious as to what put Green in front of Jackson? Is Jackson still possibly "injured"?

They all need time in practice. But I want Lang and Barbre starting. They are the 100% healthy guys. Clifton is not. Tauscher I don't know the full status of his knee. It it is 100% then I wouldn't have a problem with him getting the nod.

But keep Clifton as backup. After watching the running against Cleveland, I saw just about exclusively, no ZBS. Which was a pleasant surprise. Green is a better runner for that style than Jackson, and is probably better catching out of the back field.

It's clear what the intention is - Green is going to split snaps with Grant as an RB.

This suggests that Jackson is still going to be the 3rd down back in blocking and maybe still as a pass catcher in the flats.

Yes with the health concerns.. Cliffy should be option #2.. Lang has earned the right to go over a injured player.

Maybe Jackson really is not as good as a 30+year old RB with bad knees?

I WANT Lang to start....He has shown since the Viking game he does have the talent as we all (or all should have seen) the videos from lordfootball posted of Langs highlights/low lights

Who knows, maybe they will rotate Lang and Cliffy just to keep a fresh body in there?

Green I think is going to provide pass blocking help along with catching dumps out of back field..

I want to see a 3 back set....

Green, Grant, Johnson

I guess we will all witness that come Sunday LTF....I, for one, hope Ahman makes me eat my words bad because I was against resigning him (nothing against him) just thought something else or more should have been done.

But seriously, here is to Green making me eat my words come Sunday! :thumbleft:
