According to two of Greens former Packer teammates, who wished to remain anonymous, Green told them there is a deal in place, that he had received a playbook and was headed to Lambeau Field to begin studying on Tuesday afternoon.
So what does Green telling his former teammates the deal is done mean? Likely something (especially the playbook part), but could be nothing.
Green could simply be jumping the gun on this one.
