My power ranking system is back! If you didn't check it out last season, what I do is basically adjust the points scored and points allowed based on the average points allowed and points scored of the opponent, for each game each week. Since they are adjusted to the mean, it takes a few weeks for them to balance out a bit. Things will be better around week 5, but now that we have 3 weeks behind us, I can start to post the results!

Some of these rankings may be early season quirks, but some may also be revealing as well. I remember last year my rankings had Arizona high for quite a while and everyone thought it was extremely wrong.

Ok I tweaked my system with a very simple fix. W/L differential was added to the calculated scores.

New England sure did screw it over with that win.

Weird to see the Eagles and the Jets that low, but they did both lose to cupcake teams, I guess.

Oakland improved significantly and St. Louis should overtake Tennessee for 31 by next week. The old order is being shaken up. 😉

dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
