I assure you this won't happen, but listed are some of the changes and non changes I'd like to see.

Wynn for Grant (I like them both, but Wynn is far more talented) and 20 carries a game.

Colledge needs to stay at LG until Clifton retires and I'm not even so sure about that, but LG for sure. We felt that Spitz was better than Wells at C, and Colledge was better than Spitz at LG. So why did we weaken TWO spots PLUS the LT position at the same time? I'd prefer to use Lang and let the kid show us what he can do. And if he gets ran over, well, so is Colledge! And then we just run to the right or bootleg to the right a bit more. The OL shuffle = LOSE

Bishop for Barnett, I'm tired of the samari I want to see a sledge hammer.

Nelson/Tramon for Blackmon on returns and get rid of Blackmon, too injury prone for my tastes now.

More blitz's from the defense. Against the Bears the defense was fucking exciting to watch because you could see the defenders roaming around damn near taunting the QB. Now? Everyone is sitting still waiting for the snap. I prefer the aggressive nature instead of the reactive nature.

Rodgers, STOP HOLDING ONTO THE BALL SO LONG! I know you're freaked out when you count to 4 and still haven't gotten laid out, but shit bro chuck that shit away!

We should have Brandon Jackson and Atari Bigby back after the BYE week. That should make us better.

I'd like to see the Packers split the carries in the backfield in general. Grant hasn't performed to his contract for a year and a half now (rating him by his yards per carry). Despite Wynn's reasonably stout blocking on third downs, I'd prefer Jackson to be back there when fit because he can actually catch the football.

Other than that I agree with Bishop for Barnett, I can't remember Barnett making too many plays this season, in fact I've seen him run over numerous times.

I'd like to see Kampman rushing with his hand down a fair few times every game.

Maybe Giordano at safety, I've got no idea how good he is, but he can't be worse than Martin looked last night. To be honest, Bush didn't look too bad back there, even though I still think he's a better corner than safety.

You didn't read did ya? He's got a bum wrist now and as others have pointed out, can't catch.

Recap, bum limb, can't catch = good bye. :)

Although, it's probably best to stand pat until we have some solid OL play first THEN worry about who should be running the ball. I'd just prefer to see someone else get some carries at the RB position. They won't give many to Grant, maybe they'll give them to someone else??? lol

I just do not know!!

If they won't give Grant 20 carries, put someone in that they will give 20 carries to ... I guess that's my main point. I just don't believe any RB can get it going on 10-15 carries on a regular basis. I think you need 20 or more to get into a good grove for the RB and the OL.

I said it better in my post previous to this regarding the RB position.

Haha ok.

Anywho, I'm really looking forward to BJackson returning. Hopefully his return will bring back some of the focus to the running game. He seems to specialize in the screens/dump off passes, along with a good change of pace from Grant. Maybe with him in there it will make things easier for grant to get going.

Of course, this is all for nothing if our offensive line continues to play like garbage. That needs to be changed first and fore-most.

Geez here I thought I was the only one on these boards with these opinions/feelings (made a whole thread last week about the above also - only got a few responses.)

Concerning grant, barnett, jackson/wynn and a new return guy.

To be honest I liked Mike McCarthy play calling alot more in this game then some of his others. Meaning more screens and short passes to stop the pressure.
It was a start ...

-edit- if jackson is gtg; I agree with the part about bumping wynn; lets get woodhead from the jets practice squad (ya Im going to keep hammering that till I see a good back on our team). (btw this guy returns well also).

beast (3h) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (4h) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (13h) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (13h) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (16h) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (17h) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (17h) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
Zero2Cool (17h) : Thank you
wpr (18h) : Z, glad you are feeling better.
wpr (18h) : My son and D-I-L work for UM. It's a way to pick on them.
Zero2Cool (18h) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (18h) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (18h) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (18h) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (18h) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (19h) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (19h) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (19h) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Oh snap!!!
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Nah, you see Lions OC leaving to be HC of Bears is directly related to Packers.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ohhhhhhh Zero is in TROUBLE
packerfanoutwest (21-Jan) : Zero, per your orders, check Bearshome, not packershome
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Then he'll land with another team and flourish.
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Ben going to Bears. He'll be out in 3 years.
Mucky Tundra (20-Jan) : what's so funny?
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
