I think we need to start chillin'. We're not a bad team. In fact, we are a good team, a team that improved over our 6-10 mark and will probably end this year with a winning record.

We have only one real thing that's holding us back, and that's our OL. Granted, it's pathetic, but it's really our only real flaw.

Look at who we've played. We beat the 3-1 Bears. We lost to the 3-1 Bengals. The Rams suck and we should have slaughtered them. Then we lost by a TD to the 4-0 Vikings.

We're 2-2. Not the end of the world. We go into the bye week. Hopefully Cliffy will be 100% when we get out. Hopefully Tauscher will be NFL ready (but don't bet on it). Hopefully Ted Thompson is not sleeping tonight and instead scouting everywhere on this blue planet trying to find us another Offensive Linemen.

It's the OL that's causing all the problems. We're not staying on the field. Once again, we lost the time of possession battle, because our OL is killing us.

We need more screen passes to make up for our bad OL. Are you listening MM?

Fix the bad line and this is a deep Playoff team. I'm serious. This isn't my green and gold lenses talking.

Al Harris is still a liability. LB's still out of position more than they should be. Rodgers still needs to get the ball off quicker, or run. He's mobile. Use it. Capers seemed to have lost his nerve with blitzes for some reason.

It's way more than just the OL.

Would you like to wager we host MN at 4-2?

I would say GB is average to above average. Good... maybe, but the main thing is the expectations were great and they aren't great. Not yet, but being great in September means nothing. I rather be average now and great later than great now and average later. Hopefully that's the case for the Packers as it's been in years past.

Mucky Tundra (7h) : Now that's a thought, maybe they're looking at the college ranks? Maybe not head coaches but DC/assistant DCs with league experience?
beast (8h) : College Coaches wouldn't want that publicly, as it would hurt recruiting and they might not get the job.
beast (8h) : I thought they were supposed to publicly announce them, at least the NFL ones. Hafley was from college, so I believe different rules.
Mucky Tundra (8h) : Who knows who they're interviewing? I mean, nobody knew about Hafley and then out of nowhere he was hired
beast (11h) : I wonder what's taking so long with hiring a DL coach, 2 of the 3 known to interview have already been hired elsewhere.
