Let's face it, the key to this game is stopping Peterson.

So....how can this be achieved??

I think this responsibility lies heavily on the Packer LBer crew. If guys like Barnett, Hawk, Matthews can fight off blocks and make plays on Peterson, the Packers have an excellent shot at winning this game.

To me, so far this year, and last, with Hawk and Barnett, these guys run into the line of scrimmage (or are sucked in)and get stopped by an opposing Offensive linemen, and they (Barnett & Hawk)are done. These linebackers really need to fight off blocks and run and make plays on Peterson.

If the game comes down to old greybeard slinging it 35 times to win, I really think kampman will have several sacks, and either harris, woodson, or collins will have a int for a TD.

I think our offensive line will really have to step up also. I hope clifton will see some playing time tonite.

i also want to see J-Finn have a big game tonite and show how he can be a big game changing play maker.

come on receiving corps, no dropped passes tonite.

We need to string him out.

Make him go east - west and not give him chances to cut up field.

We stop Peterson and cut out the short passing game, we force Favre to go long and we have many experiences as packer fans of what happens when he does.

Peterson is most dangerous when he "cuts-back". He'll get a defense to pursue in 1 direction, then he'll 'cut-back' against the pursuit and make a big play.

I think we need to have a swarming set of LBers to thwart Peterson's rushing attempts!

What we need to do to stop Peterson is put up the first 14 points and let Childress do the rest.

He will panic and Favre wants it to bad to have the patience to grind their way back into the game.

Peterson will become a non-factor if we can jump out to a two score lead. Chilly can't help himself when they get behind.

The LB's must take the right angles and other players be aware of the way he can reverse field and not overpersue.

Hawk of late has not been taking the right angles. He seems to go straight to the player instead of to where the player is going.

It's going to have to be a team effort. We can't afford to have anybody take a play off or play at 50% effort, and we need to turn up the intensity in the 2nd half, because that's what AD does.

Last season Chilly just didn't seem to know how to gameplan.

AP was running all over us and he changed to pass happy offense.

If it's working keep running it.

packerfanoutwest (4m) : as I just said,,gtheyh are in no matter what
Zero2Cool (10m) : Packers should get in. I just hope it's not 7th seed. Feels dirty.
packerfanoutwest (12m) : If packers lose out, no matter what, they are in
packerfanoutwest (12m) : both teams can not male the playoffs....falcon hold the tie breaker
packerfanoutwest (15m) : if bucs win out they win their division
beast (24m) : Fine, Buccaneers and Falcons can get ahead of us
packerfanoutwest (29m) : falcons are already ahead of us
beast (33m) : Packers will get in
beast (33m) : If Packers lose the rest of their games and Falcons win the rest of theirs, they could pass us... but not gonna happen
packerfanoutwest (39m) : they still are in the playoffs
packerfanoutwest (39m) : If Packers lose the remaining games,,,,at 10-7
Zero2Cool (2h) : We can say it. We don't play.
Mucky Tundra (3h) : But to say they are in is looking past the Saints
Mucky Tundra (3h) : That said, their odds are very favorable with a >99% chance of making the playoffs entering this week's games
Mucky Tundra (3h) : Packers are not in and have not clinched a playoff spot.
buckeyepackfan (4h) : Packers are in, they need to keep winning to improve their seed#.
Mucky Tundra (13h) : Getting help would have been nice, but helping ourselves should always be the plan
beast (13h) : Too bad Seahawks couldn't beat Vikings
bboystyle (13h) : We just need to win Monday night and were in
Mucky Tundra (17h) : Or ties, but let's be real here
Mucky Tundra (17h) : Other scenario was Falcons+Rams losses
Mucky Tundra (17h) : Needed a Falcons loss for a Seahawk loss to clinch

Mucky Tundra (21-Dec) : Agreed; you stinks
Zero2Cool (21-Dec) : I'm not beating anyone. I stinks.
Mucky Tundra (21-Dec) : rough injury for tank dell. guy can't catch abreak
beast (21-Dec) : So far the college playoffs have sucked... One team absolutely dominates the other
beast (21-Dec) : Well even if you weren't positive towards a guy, you wouldn't nessarily want to tell the media that (if they don't know about it)
Martha Careful (21-Dec) : I think MLF want Love to look past the end half issues, and feel good about his play. Our coaches generally keep a very positive tone.
beast (21-Dec) : I think a great running game will do that for most QBs
packerfanoutwest (21-Dec) : Coach Matt LaFleur has said quarterback Jordan Love is playing the best football of his career.
beast (21-Dec) : Oh, that's how you keep beating buckeye, with cheating
Zero2Cool (20-Dec) : There is a rule that if your name starts with 'b' you lose 15 points. Hey, I don't make the rules, I just enforce them!
wpr (20-Dec) : and then there is Beast. Running away with it all.
beast (20-Dec) : As of tonight, 3 way tie for 2nd in Pick'em, that battle is interesting!
beast (20-Dec) : Lions vs Vikings could be the main last game as it could determine division winners or #1 vs #2 seed
Mucky Tundra (20-Dec) : Or if KC needs to win for the #1 seed
Mucky Tundra (20-Dec) : Right now it looks like the only prime worthy games are Det-Minny and KC-Denver (if Denver can clinch a wild card spot)
Mucky Tundra (20-Dec) : The entirety of week 18 being listed as flex is weird
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : Matt LaFleur today says unequivocally "Ted Thompson had nothing to do with the drafting of Jordan Love."
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : Apparently, the editing is what pieces comments together. That Ted thing ... fake news.
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : LaFleur "opportunity that Ted Thompson thought was too good to pass up"
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : Jordan Love pick was Ted Thompson's idea.
Mucky Tundra (19-Dec) : Kyle Shanahan on signing De'Vondre Campbell as a FA last offseason: “We obviously made a mistake.”
packerfanoutwest (19-Dec) : Alexander’s last season with GB
Martha Careful (18-Dec) : if I were a professional athlete, I would probably look to see who the agent is for Kirk Cousins and then use him
beast (18-Dec) : $100 million fully guaranteed Kirk Cousins gets benched for rookie
Mucky Tundra (18-Dec) : a lower case b
Mucky Tundra (18-Dec) : The real lie is how beast capitalized his name in his message while it's normally spelled with
