The key, obviously, is minimizing A.P.'s impact on the game. To that end, the D-line has to be stout and maintain lane control,. Beyond that, I recommend that Desmond Bishop see significantly more snaps than Nick Barnett who, even when healthy, is not an impact hitter...dude just hangs on and gets dragged mostly. Bishop makes people stop in their tracks, and go backwards.

Rodgers is a cool customer and should have his emotions mostly in check....Favre, not so much. Let Charles and Al latch onto a couple of his "triple dog dare" tosses and we should be all right.

"Brady Quinn threw for 205 yards that game...I believe Aaron Rodgers can if Quinn can."

One name. Joe Thomas. The team by itsself is pretty bad, but that O-line can really protect the QB.

In contrary to the Viking fans' believe, their secondary really isn't that great. In essence, it's the same secondary that was ranked 32nd against the pass, but then without Sharper. The key is stopping their pass rush. Edwards is a run of the mill DE who should get pressure once or twice, but should be handled. The whole problem is Jared Allen. When you have a Joe Thomas and you can contain Allen, you can throw on the Vikings. We'll see if Colledge is up to that job. I know Clifton is, when he's totally healthy.

Maybe we can make his jersey dirty and hope that he'll change it at half time so he'll miss the first snap of the half. :thedwarf:

Rock-- Right on man...I didn't really think about that when making that point. One thing I would counter with is receiving corps...short passes will = success? I am hoping that our o-line is up to the task tonight, I don't think they will take Minny's d-line lightly or they will be in for a very long night.

What is up with people saying pray? Is that some joke I missed or can their be an intelligent post to a good topic? ::roll:

last time I looked farve likes to throw the i-n-t's ... and we happen to have the best secondary in the NFC north and IMO the best in the league.

I say - stop the run and let woodson, harris, williams, and collins decide our fate.

if the packers defense can stop peterson, we will win this game. i think harris, collins, williams, and woodson can handle anything brett and the vikes will throw at them.

I'm hearing about the huge impact Mike Nolan has made in Denver so far this year. We've all heard about Gregg Williams in New Orleans and the impact he's made.

Mr. Capers -- I'm lookin' to you. Use that sage-like experience and put together a helluva gameplan. You'll need it to shutdown AD -- but I think you're just the guy to do it.

GO PACK GO!
