Crystalis for the NES is still actually kind of fun.

http://maplestory.nexon.net/Intro/  although they both have a slight anime type feel to them.

I've got a whole slew of different posts to respond to, I'll be honest and say I'm too lazy to quote all of them properly.

Fallout: Played and loved Fallout 3. 1 and 2 are eventually on my list but I'm looking for something more traditional right now.

Final Fantasy VII: I'm stubborn and irrational when I want to be, have had my fair share of FFVII fanboys piss me off. I'm sure I'll give in someday (I did to FF6), right now I'm looking for moAERIS DIES

Crystalis: Oh, I forgot about Crystalis. Played the GBC port, very fun.

Enchanted Arms: No. Don't have a PS3, apart from PC/SNES/N64/Cube/DS/GBA I'm limited to emulation.

MMORPGs in general: Too addicting. Played runescape back in the day, then got addicted to an MMORTS called Ogame. If I start a good MMORPG, I won't stop. :<

Minish Cap: Thought about it. Yesterday, actually (after watching a quick video on the non-existent LoZ timeline). Definetly checking it out and see if it clicks

I'm replaying FFVII right now. My roommate bought it on his PS3 and had never played it so I thought I would maybe put some time in. Let's just say I've hogged the damn thing and put in 20 hours more than him lol. Awesome game.

Ok, so I did a little quick research on this.. So, you can buy FF7 online through the PS3's online thing, am I correct? Did they redo any part of it or just left it the way it was on PSOne?

Either way, that just inspired me even more to buy the PS3. My wife loves FFX, and I've always talked about as good as FFX was, FFVII was sooooo much better. She doesn't believe me because of the graphics. I'll have to prove it to her.

Xbox 360 users who like/love FF (VII) should try Lost Odyssey once. I asume that it's down to at least $30,-, maybe even maybe a bit less. The first 2 discs are simply amazing. A lot of movies, but the story is great. The battle system is like that of an old JPRG, with some additions to make it more interesting. It really is great.

I would say you should get Fallout 1 and 2 and Planescape: torment.

Arguably the best 3 rpgs in video game history.

Yea my roommate bought it for $10 on his PS3. I personally own an Xbox 360. Console wars are bs to me though, different systems meet different peoples gaming styles but in the end they're all awesome.

FFX was awesome too though. I enjoyed FFIX as well but never got through FFVIII because my brother spilled on the 3rd disc.

FF8.. You aren't missing much. I heard it's horribad, and I couldn't stand it much, I didn't make it past the first 30 minutes of the game. I vaguely remember my friend playing FFIX.. I've been told that one's pretty good. I'll have to look into finding that when I get a PS3.

I enjoyed VIII, but like you said, that didn't last too long. Never made it far in that game.

The FF that I really dislike is XII. You have a great game which sells amazingly every single time. It's even good enough to lay the foundation for a MMORPG. Yet, for some reason, they go out and change the entire battle system into something that doesn't even look like a JRPG anymore.

Like I said in a previous post, try Lost odyssey. Amazing game, at least for the first 2 discs. And even that already justifies the buy.
