My God. Are we going to have this argument again?

Tom Brady is the best player of the 00s. There is NO ONE close.

He's won SBs with mediocre WRs. In '07, he finally got 2 elite WRs and look what happened - he had arguably the best year ever by a QB.

Now when it comes to clutch, look at his playoff record:
Playoff Record as Starting QB: 2001 (3-0), 2003 (3-0), 2004 (3-0), 2005 (1-1), 2006 (2-1), 2007 (2-1)

Compare that to Peyton Manning:
Playoff Record as Starting QB: 1999 (0-1), 2000 (0-1), 2002 (0-1), 2003 (2-1), 2004 (1-1), 2005 (0-1), 2006 (4-0), 2007 (0-1), 2008 (0-1)

And P Manning has had the best posession WR EVER for most of his career. he has had a solid OL for his entire career. He's always had good receivers. He's lost Playoff games with the #1 D in the entire NFL.

In summary, Brady wins games with inferior teams compared to what the Colts have. Brady is a superior QB. Manning I won't even have in my top 5 (since '76). Brady is #3, and that's even ahead of Brett Favre, my favorite player ever.

No.

Derek Anderson posted similar numbers to Aaron Rodgers and now he is in starting battles.

Fact is, elite entails being a proven performer over the span of multiple seasons.

A season like Rodgers' makes a quarterback a very hot prospect, on the brink, he just needs to tip the balance this year and possibly the next (which I think he will).

Brees Brady Manning are your top three right now, with Phillip Rivers at a possible four. That fifth slot is up for grabs

Rodgers would be good.......if he had some BLOCKERS to give him time.......or WR's that didn't drop the ball.
The way it's going, he will be lucky to SURVIVE until the bye week.

He was an elite rusher today. He covered more ground than any other player on our O. To bad it was east and west.
