Raji was inactive with his ankle.

Great game by Jenkins. So much for 3-4 DE being nothing but a "space eater" position. I didn't even see B.J. Raji out there, but I saw Montgomery and Wynn. Raji must not have suited up.

Yes, Raji was inactive.

What a freaking game Jenkins had. He penetrated the Chicago line on passing and rushing plays. He's such an important player on this D.

I swear, if Cullen plays like this every game and doesn't make the Pro Bowl...

I don't even want to finish that sentence. I'll go out on the line and say that he'll be the most deserving player to not reach the Pro Bowl from the Packers in the last decade.

This guy is playing OUT OF HIS MIND. He's custom-built to play in the Capers 3-4 scheme.

I fail to see how we adequately replace Jenkins or even Jolly on the other end if either go down this season. DL depth is certainly one of my biggest concerns with this squad.

Raji looked good in preseason, but we'll see how he holds up regularly against the 1's. I don't want our D to become a victim of overpenetration and overpursuit which are things Raji may end up doing as a rookie.

An injury would also mean not being able to rotate these DL in and out of the game as much. We'd probably end up see more 2 DL looks, which could be attacked by more powerful lines if we have to do it on a regular basis.

Totally agree. I think our D-line rotation of '07 was perfect. We had basically no injuries and a constant rotation of quality players there every down. Hopefully we'll have the same luck this year.
