Still think that we're taking a big risk with slipping Meredith onto the PS. If a team will trade for Moll, they ough to be willing to snatch Jamon off of our practice squad.

And with Heckendorf, Martin and Allen gone, I guess that Swain has been making that progression that we've been hoping for. Didn't see that one coming at all. Both Heckendorf and Martin looked a lot better to me.

Martin, Sutton, and Smith all didn't make it? They were key contributors all pre-season!

I better see Jeff Garcia and D.J. Hackett in the green and gold soon then.

Sorry to see Ruvall go but kind of expected it after Swain had such a good showing, he will be signed by someone.

Sorry, I'm still shocked.

I remember seeing that one interception where Smith came out of nowhere and plucked the ball out of the air.

That's pure athleticism.

The guy's the third best safety on the roster.

I still can't believe we have not solidified the safety position opposite Collins. I almost wish they would move Woodson over and start Tramon at corner. The problem is then you don't have the great nickel back.

Bigby and Rouse are just guys. I guess if they are assignment sure, but both are definitely the glaring weakness in the secondary.

I am a little shocked at the rel of Smith. I thought he played pretty well on the field.
I like Ruvell. As a #5 WR he is the best. May be better than some #3s. That said I had hoped they would keep someone like Swain who has more upside potential.

Not happy with the Ruvell release, but I understand it.

You have Swain who is a great special teams player and you have Jermichael Finley who can line up as a 5th receiver pretty much. Again they opt for special teams rather than probably the better player at that position. That tells you something.

I have a hunch Martin will land somewhere and play pretty well.
