Who will be your surprise cuts this year?

My candidates are:
Julius Peppers (Elliot would really have to show something)
Chris Banjo
Letroy Guion (If some other dudes step up)
Adrian Hubbard (Not really a shocker)
John Kuhn
Tim Masthay (Has to make the team again)
Mike Pennell
Nick Perry
Don Barclay (Another T has to step up, preferably someone who can play LT.)
Mike Neal

If I have time this week, I'll do an overall 53 man roster prediction.

hahahahaha Yeah, there definitely are some surprises there.

Peppers? No way barring anything even remotely thinkable.

I'll give you at least a slim chance for pretty much everybody else you listed. There are some who maybe you didn't list because they might not be too surprising - Goodson and Thornton, although I think both of those make the team.

I would absolutely add B.J. Raji to the list - IMO, more likely to be gone than either Guion or Pennell. Sean Richardson also has to be a possibility - I see Banjo as more of a keeper than him, as well as James Starks - who very well could get beat out by any of the several young RBs. Boyd could go too, although I don't think so.

From your list, I think Hubbard is a much stronger candidate to step up than get cut. I think the only way Barclay goes is if his injury leaves him damaged goods. Perry is IMO the most likely one from your list to be gone.

Still, Starks is getting to be that age. He could conceivably begin to lose a step, although that doesn't stop them from keeping Kuhn year after year, step lost after step lost. (I'll note that Kuhn is a white "try hard" guy and leave it at that.)

Raji and Richardson are good additions to the list. Raji needs to prove he's for real. Just because he was for real last year in TC, doesn't necessarily mean he will this year. Let's see what he's got. And Richardson, let's face it, he's not all that.

Hubbard is Erik Walden 2.0, nothing special.

I would be very surprised to see Richardson get cut. I'm not 100% sure how the RFA tender works but somehow I think his contract is guaranteed. At least a big part of it is. Then there was the whole bidding war with the Raiders.

I say Richardson makes the roster this year.

I guess they love the tweeners. Probably could cover TEs, theoretically.

I too think we may be stuck with Richardson for better or worse. Hopefully he earns his money on special teams. If Hubbard is like Walden, I think I'd settle for that, considering how we got them. Walden was serviceable for us, then he went and took a nice chunk of somebody else's salary cap. True about those rookie RBs being long shots, but there are at least 3 of them if you include Neal - one or more could show some ability. Starks is not one of my favorite Packers; I wouldn't predict he gets cut, but I would put him on the list.

Martha Careful (21-Dec) : I think MLF want Love to look past the end half issues, and feel good about his play. Our coaches generally keep a very positive tone.
beast (21-Dec) : I think a great running game will do that for most QBs
packerfanoutwest (21-Dec) : Coach Matt LaFleur has said quarterback Jordan Love is playing the best football of his career.

Mucky Tundra (20-Dec) : Right now it looks like the only prime worthy games are Det-Minny and KC-Denver (if Denver can clinch a wild card spot)
Mucky Tundra (20-Dec) : The entirety of week 18 being listed as flex is weird
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : Matt LaFleur today says unequivocally "Ted Thompson had nothing to do with the drafting of Jordan Love."

Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : LaFleur "opportunity that Ted Thompson thought was too good to pass up"
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : Jordan Love pick was Ted Thompson's idea.
Mucky Tundra (19-Dec) : Kyle Shanahan on signing De'Vondre Campbell as a FA last offseason: “We obviously made a mistake.”
packerfanoutwest (19-Dec) : Alexander’s last season with GB
Martha Careful (18-Dec) : if I were a professional athlete, I would probably look to see who the agent is for Kirk Cousins and then use him

packerfanoutwest (18-Dec) : haha that's a lie
beast (17-Dec) : Despite what lies other might tell, Beast didn't hate the Winter Warnings, it felt refreshing to Beast for some reason.
Zero2Cool (17-Dec) : whiteout uniforms in general are pretty lame and weak. NFL greed at it's worst
Martha Careful (17-Dec) : The Viking uniforms, the whiteout uniforms specifically absolutely suck
beast (17-Dec) : Thanks Zero2Cool, looks a lot better now
beast (17-Dec) : Seems like someone has a crush on me, can't stop talking about me
Zero2Cool (17-Dec) : Should be gooder now. The forum default theme went to goofy land.
Zero2Cool (17-Dec) : What the hell
packerfanoutwest (17-Dec) : yeah beast hates the Winter Warning Unies
Mucky Tundra (16-Dec) : Okay I'm glad to know it's not just something happening to me lol
Mucky Tundra (16-Dec) : Zero, did you copy the Packers uniforms from last night and white out the board?
beast (16-Dec) : Oh crap, is the board going to the Winter Warning Uniforms too?!? It's all white on white right now!
Zero2Cool (16-Dec) : WR Odell Beckham Jr is officially a free agent after clearing waivers.
Zero2Cool (16-Dec) : Packers are 6th in sacks.
Zero2Cool (16-Dec) : RB David Montgomery will undergo season-ending knee surgery.
Mucky Tundra (16-Dec) : Dan Campbell on onside kick with 12 minutes left: In hindsight, wish I didn’t do that
