Based on comments from practice this morning I really don't understand where this rumor is coming from?

1:09

Twitter Greg_A_Bedard: Bigby is back in with ones after missing a lot of the 2 minute drill. They could be giving Smith a look.

Smith had 2 int's this morning as well against rodgers.

Bush > Smith

Why? Because Bush is a special teams stud. Smith is not.

That's all there is to it.

I guess I'll just wait and see what happens, because I really can't see it right now.

quote from mccarthy after todays practice:

On whether S Anthony Smith is pushing for more playing time: "I think Anthony has done a nice job. He's made a lot of big plays, had some big plays today....Anthony is doing a lot of positive things."

1 Rumors are just unsubstantiated bs.
2 Garbage in Garbage out I can make a prediction and call it a rumor. If it doesn't come to fruition it was just a rumor. If it does come true I am a reliable source.
This is what some in the media call journalism.
55 if you don't cite a source don't bother getting us all whipped up for no cause.
3 Ted Thompson and MM are responsable to field the best 53 men and win ball games if Smith is part of that formula he will stay if he isn't he is gone.
Besides in terms of D players I think Dom makes the call on that it is his system and he has the knowledge and MM 'knows that.
I am therefor I think.

I try to be really careful with how I post where my information is coming from. Let's just say my source tells me more inside information than I could ever share.

Rumor) I heard it from a guy who heard it from a guy that chevy is bringing out the new camaro.

Insider) I spoke with a guy inside chevy that TOLD ME the camaro will be out said date.

Maybe my problem was in calling it a hot rumor. If your source is close to the tell him not to pull an Icarus. I am also SURE that dom has say in personnel not final mind you but heavy input.
I am therefor I think.

Who would you rather have gunning on Special Teams, Smith or Bush? I'd take Bush myself. Last year we saw how important special teams were. A good ST gunner is more important that the #2 SS, but that's just my opinion.

The first 4 games, Smith. Then Bigby after he's earned it back.

Back up safety. Well, Bush because of special teams.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
