The topic of Ahman Green has bugged me for a while now. I was a big fan of the guy when he was a Packer and thought he was a great running back (absolutely tore it up in the 04 season he won Nfc mvp) and I dont like how the origination handled him towards his decline. First of all do you think he deserves to be in the Packers Hall of Fame and have his number retired (I do, hes the packers all time rushing leader!!!!) Secondly do you think the Packers organization will sign him, now he his a free agent so he can retire as a packer (Kind of like what they did with Antonio Freeman)?

If Green wants to sign so he can retire a Packer, Green Bay will probably do that for him.

He's a lock for the Packer Hall of Fame, but no way is his number retired.

I wouldn't doubt that he signs and retires a Packer. The team has done that for a few. His number will not be retired though, unless by some miracle he makes the NFL Hall.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

I think I'd put Green in the top 3 all time great RB's in Packers history. He was very productive running and receiving for a good handful of years.

I can't see them retiring his number, but I think he should be in the Hall, and it would be cool if he retired a Packer. I assume that's something he would have to approach the organization about, though.

No way do you retire his number, that's reserved for the elite of the elite and while he was a great back for us I wouldn't consider him in the top six Packers of all time (only Tony Canadeo, Don Hutson, Bart Starr, Ray Nitschke, and Reggie White have their numbers retired... Favre to follow eventually). That said he definitely belongs in the Packers Hall of Fame and I'd love it if he got the chance to retire a Packer when he decides he wants to hang up the cleats.

Packers Hall of Fame? Yes
Number retired? No

And Green is not the Packer's All-Time rushing leader, that still belongs to Jim Taylor @ 8207 yards with 81 TDs, and Green @ 8162 yards with 53 TDs.

Yes, he will be in the Packer HOF.
Number retired? No.
I still like the guy, he was great for us, and always treated us fans well.
