So I've had the NFL package via Direct TV for five or six years now. I'm in AZ and this is the only way I get to see all of the games. I've never been pleased spending the $250 annually to pick up the non-televised games, but hey. I'm a fan, so there it is.

I was waivering again this year on cancelling, what with the M and T night games and all, and online options. So I called DTV about cancelling.

To which they've replied, "How about if we cut the cost in half, and add the HD NFL channels as well?" I said yes.

So if you're a DTV subscriber with the NFL package, and have been so for a few years, I would recommend giving them a call to see what they can do. It was worth my time.

Timmons....you most likely talked with someone here in Missoula. One of Direct TV's 4 call centers is located here and this one handles most of the contract changes, cancellations, etc. Could have been the pretty young girl that lives across the street from us. She works there and loves it.

The other call centers are in Tulsa, Huntsville Ala, and Boise Id.

I'm happy and looking forward to an HD Packer season. Now all I have to miss about WI is the green grass, the trees, the fresh air, the brats and beer, the snow in the winter, family, people who say hello and the high taxes.
