I can't believe any Packer fan actually supporting Brett Favre.

All right last year I just let it go probably one of the big reasons being he went to the Jets instead of the Vikings but this year come on. I mean this guy just announced he was staying retired a week or so ago and now his going to play first game tonight.

Now how can he actually chose the Vikings ... rivals to the Packers. This is not acceptable. I couldn't care less if he has won us a SB, just imagine NFC championship and his the one that knocks off to help win the Vikings. How would you guys feel then?

I officially hate Brett Favre. I hope Rodgers lights it up against them this year.

Remaining Favre fans how do you guys still remain a Favre fan ... I mean think of it this way. Assuming your married ... and your wife leave's you for your rival. I'm sure most of you would hate your wife and for those who won't they've got something wrong in there head.

Favre betrayed and disgraced all the Packers fans / history / franchise etc... and that's just simply the ugly truth.

Admit it or not that is the truth now do you accept it or not that's up to you.

:pukeright:

I accept your take exactly. If anyone get a purple Brett jersey, they should get some red spray paint, and paint a circle with a diagonal bar through it over the number 4, both front and back. Thats what I would do.

You will grow up someday and realize that hating Brett Favre is so immature.

You don't agree with what he did, as do most on this forum, fine, but he still wanted to play football, and The Vikings were the team that wanted him.

Everything else will blow over in time.

Good points. Hating Brett Favre is immature, however learning who he really is isn't. He's simply a =self-centered individual in a childish way and the 16 years he had in Green Bay blinded most of us to this fact. He's not aggressive in his narcissism but passive. I think we all just have to accept who he really is for the first time our lives, looking back at his addiction problems and retirement issues in contrast with his triumphs and love for the game.

I don't hate him now, but I don't love him now either. He's simply another player in the great game of football, and because he doesn't play for my team anymore, I choose to ignore him until he's relevant (like when we play the Vikings).

I still truly believe(and I have seen the polls)that the fans in the stadium still have enough class to not boo Brett.

This is frankly an insulting thing for you to say. Do the fans at Lambeau cheer when other teams take the field (I ask because I've never been there)? If not, then why would they cheer for the Vikings when they take the field, regardless of who's leading the team?

The past is just that. Past. Let's stop living in it.

I'm sorry if your insulted. READ THE DAMN QUESTION!!! I gave my opinion, you don't agree fine, but don't come back on here and tell me I insulted you, you have insulted me several times with your opinions on different subjects.

I didin't make a point of calling you out.

I'll say it again I hope The Packer Players are not so fixated with this ONE game, that they forget to play the others. If that happens the outcome of THIS ONE GAME will not matter.

I gotta work on that subtlety thing. merged

STOP opening up brand new threads for your own version of the fiasco.

You have plenty of room to vent right here. If you think you are especially original, you probably are not.

I actually agree with this completely. If he wants to play, fine. It's what has happened between point A (retiring from the Packers) and point B (signing with the Vikings) that has been hard for me to stomach. and it's the same thing that's been hard for the "Thompson haters" a.k.a. "Favre-firsters". It's just been tough. Eventually he will retire for real, he will once again be my one and only football hero, I will release him from time-out, and we can be friends again. But it's hard to see the forest from the trees. Right now, he has signed with the one team that I really consider "the enemy" and I hope, just like every other time we play them, that we kick their asses.

Nicely put. 🙂 And I will buy a Vikings Jersey and wear it proudly, I will wear my Green Bay Jersey with the #4 on it as well. If I have to I will wrap one on top and the other one on the bottom.

I disagree. It's not immature in any shape or form to dislike someone. And it has nothing to do with needing to grow up. That line is completely distasteful and uncalled for.

I agree with most of the rest although not most on this forum 'hate' Brett. Once he's retired and not playing for a rival, the perceptions will change.

As you finished with, everything will blow over, I agree with that as well.

Again, I wish Brett well, the Vikings bad (I'll never stoop that low to root for the Vikings or buy one of their jerseys) and of course Brett to not get a W against the Packers, lol.

Other than that, I'm excited to see Brett continue to play. He's a phenomal athlete and one of the rarest talents we've been lucky to see and we should appreciate his effort.

beast (23h) : Either the Cowboys have no idea what they're doing, or they're targeting their former OC, currently the Eagles OC
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Fake news. Cowboys say no
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Mystery candidate in the Cowboys head coaching search believed to be Packers ST Coordinator Rich Bisaccia.
beast (23-Jan) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (23-Jan) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job

Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
