the DTW stop confused me as well... GB to Philly doesn't seem that out of reach, especially with a two week prep period.

I'm more worried about missing the actual flight than the flight it self as it gets closer to that time.

I have always understood the reason for the Wausau hops, but the Green Bay flights always puzzled me.. Detroit is cool going through the lighted tunnel..

Out of probably 50 commercial flights I have only missed one connection not due to weather Zero..had to hurry like hell at times but it really isn't that bad.

Luggage on the other hand through the connections.. hmmm carry a spare set of clothes in th carry on. 😉

lol I finally found the overhead compartment dimensions so now I have to buy a suitcase within those parameters. I figure I can put my work laptop/case under the seat and my personal laptop in the suitcase.

I bet 10 bucks I miss my flight. lol

I'm flying with another co-worker who knows I'm a rookie on a lot of the things in the IT world as well as flying. So far, he's having a blast watching me struggle. I could see him EASILY boarding the plane without me just for a laugh!!

Unless you are 5'2' and under 100 lbs, try to take an extra large shoehorn in an easily accessible shirt pocket. Otherwise you may never get out of that first seat once you're in. Leg room and "coach seat" are about as likely to be found together as I am to be spending tonight with Jessica Biel.

Actually, what's best is either a crowbar or a Gumby pill, but the one is probably against TSA rules and the other, well, who ever heard of a Gumby pill?

And accessing a laptop in flight...hahahha. Maybe an iPod.

After sitting in the Austin Straubel Airport for three hours, flight cancelled and schedule for tomorrow morning. FUN!

They said there was some maintenance issues with our plan.

GB to MN to Philly. Dumb route if you ask me. Why go West when I need to go East? Then of all freaking places to have to stop, it's purple pissVille! 🙂

hah nice!

We heard ... 'maintenance needs to be call for flight 1774 it will be five minutes before they arrive'

20 minutes later 'flight 1774 has a small issue it'll take 15-20 minutes to resolve'

30+ minutes later 'flight 1774 is having major maintenance issues and is being canceled please go to the check in window for further directions'

Then I stood in line for what felt like five hours. To find out I have to leave at 6am in the morning tomorrow! lol
