Chris carter just reported that Childress informed his team that Brett would start Friday night against the Chiefs.

The reports I have been seeing is that the contract is a 2 year deal worth 10 -12 million.

Also the report is Brett has a slight tear in his rotator cuff, one of the reasons he turned down The Vikings 3 weeks ago, it is being reported that he continued to work out and that he started feeling no pain.

I think if you ask any vet if they could skip training camp they would.
