hey PH Community,
I am Nate. I am from the Green Bay/Bellevue border on Erie Road. (320 Yards out of GB). I was a military brat until I was 18, so, every Christmas and summer, no matter where we lived in the world, my family would make the journey out to my Grandparent's farm, the one on the skirts of the two towns. In 2006 I left my parents behind in Virginia and traveled to the state of Alaska where I attend the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. My brother, now a Captain in the U.S. Army, also moved up here to be stationed at Ft. Wainwright. He is currently due back from Iraq mid September. There are several things we are not able to easily come by up here, such things include 6 lb blocks of fresh cheddar cheese, equivalent feats of summer sausage and ALL the Packer Games possible.
My quest on this forum is to find someone who would be willing to record the Packers' pre-season games and send them to me in the mail at my cost. This way I can watch them and I can also save them for my brother so when he get's back he can watch them. (except for the first ones which I will just send to him in Iraq).
I appreciate any direction- and thanks for having a forum for the pack. It's pretty funny actually- up here we got more frozen tundra than you can imagine and with Lambeau Field being the Frozen Tundra, a good portion of the football fans I've met up here are die hard pack fans.
