ya I agree - the guy is a glorified DE - not even a true NT. And he's holding out along with the primadona crabtree.

Granted crabtree looked Really good in college.

IMO raji still has stuff to prove how he can handle 350pound offense linemen - ya like how about loadholt minn pick 6'8 332 at time of the pick.

Raji if you are reading this - get back in camp I want to see a packers playoff run this season - we spent our top pick on U

I also think he needs to get in camp, but I don't think it's entirely his fault. Agents need to let the players negotiate the contracts, it would get done a lot faster, IMO. Seems like the agents just keep trying to get more and more money. Bastards, haha.

Yeah, everything I've read has said that it's as much the Packers fault as Raji and his agent. If the Packers really really wanted him in camp asap, they would have made it happen already. They are just trying to get him as cheap as possible, which is a good business model, but not really good for him making an immediate impact.

at the same time, it's bad team management if you expect immediate impact from your rookie. this is different than hoping for an immediate impact.

I don't think it's the Packers fault nor Raji's or his agent. It is the stupid systems fault and it has to be changed. Do you think these 20 year old kids deserve 20 to 80 million dollars to sign a rookie contract, friggin not me! Fair is fair but stupid will always be stupid.

I don't see how anyone can have a strong opinion when we have no idea how much the Packers are offering, nor how much Raji is asking for. Ted has been known to lowball people before (Bubba Franks, Ryan Grant), so it's not out of the question that it's happening again.

Mostly I blame the Raiders for signing Darrius Heyward-Bey to a ridiculously large contract, which has messed up the salary scale for everyone who was picked immediately after him. The Raiders are so bad that now they are even screwing things up for other teams.
