How does Skip Bayless know who called who? Do you or Skip have evidence of this.

I had to sit through Rich Eisen farting out the, "Now we know he didn't do this to spite the Packers and it wasn't just about the money" crap on the 90 minute waste of time NFL Total Access last night. Jaime Dukes repeating the Super Bowl caliber Vikings BS.

After all the lies and half truths Lord Favre has spewed for the last 2 seasons and I'm supposed to believe he's willing to take a pay cut for Randy Moss?

I'm truly disgusted by the hero worship that goes on in this country all the time.

I think it's been clear that both sides have been toying with the idea of Favre playing for the Vikings since GB decided to go with Rodgers after Brett retired the first time. It was a conversation. It wasn't one side pursuing the other.

I'm so happy my wall o' Favre can stay up, if he stays retired. It was going to be moved to the bathroom if he went to Minnesota.

I was going to start a camp fire with my jerseys. All I know is I don't have to take crap from my Viking buddies, and I have a lot of them. I've been referring to them as Charlie Brown about ready to kick the football.

I wonder how ticket sales are going in Minnesota?

Latest rumor i heard is the Pats are interested in Lord Favre, They aren't sold on Brady's knee and would love to be able to bring Favre in. If this is true i can understand why he turned down the Vikes for a chance to play with the wr he wanted in NE. That would be scary watching him play with Moss Welker and Galloway as your top 3 wrs. Stay Tuned.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

I also don't think Belichick could deal with Favre's INTs.

Please put a question mark on the thread's title:

http://blogs.usatoday.com/thehuddle

Brett Favre said it's "very unlikely" he'll change his mind about playing again in the NFL.

But in comments to SI.com, Favre acknowledged that he could be enticed to play at some point this season.

"I really believe this is it," Favre told the site. "I truly, truly believe it's over.
But if someone calls Nov. 1, who knows?''

Update: Favre's agent, Bus Cook, continued to leave the door open to a return in comments to ESPN today (via PFT): "I don't think he'd go to a team unless it was a contender. In fact, he probably wouldn't go to a team unless its the Minnesota Vikings."

Wow.

Seriously, I'll believe it when training camp is over with and the season starts.

I wanted Brett to come back. There is a good chance he answers that call if he feels better after a longer period of time.

Looks like that anguish wasn't pr like I thought. That's good to know. I hope Favre sticks to his decision this time. Yes he has the right to change his mind again and again, but his legacy has taken a pounding because of all this indecision and I personally don't want to see him become a laughing stock.

I think even he knows that the likely hood of him going to a team in mid season that isn't a west coast team is slim to none. I know people are thinking maybe New England, Indy, or Pittsburgh assuming injury but he doesn't know those systems and he'd self-destruct fast.

Three options I see for Favre.

1. Favre stays retired.

2. Minnesota goes on a losing streak early and gives him a call.

3. Aaron Rodgers gets hurt early with a major injury and maybe the egos are put aside on both ends and Favre has one last run in Green and Gold.

Personally, I hope option one wins out.
