"We were kind of paper champions in a lot of regards on offense. The fact of the matter is we really weren't good enough in certain spots and, in some other spots, we were just flat-out bad. We stunk on the opening drive of the game, we stunk on the opening drive of the second half and we didn't play well in two-minute."

Some of those failed two-minute possessions came deep in many of the games that the Packers lost. Eight of the defeats occurred when they either led or trailed in the fourth quarter by no more than one score. The Packers were 2-7 after giving Rodgers a guaranteed $20 million.

The inability to pull out close games left Rodgers open to shots from some personnel people. Late in the season, he was labeled a "stats guy" by one scout, whereas another questioned his leadership skills.

I question a defense that when given the lead, turns right around and allows the other teams offense to walk down the field with little resistance.
That happened game after game.
But it's all AR's fault. Yup.

I place very little blame on Rodgers. I blame bad coaching, bad off season moves, and more bad coaching.

A pourous defense and lousy special teams didn't help.
One man can only do so much. He needs SOME help.
2 games lost because out field goal unit can't make a field goal.
Thats Rodgers fault too.

I don't disagree that Rodgers somewhat of a 'stats guy'. I look at his stats and I think we won ten or more games with those numbers. Again I mention when did those 13 INT's come versus when the 28 TD's come? That plays a huge role in the outcome of games.

Rodgers does need to improve and he has lots of room for it (not saying he sucks, he just has room to go up that is all) and I believe he is in the right system with the right coaching staff to become a top five QB in this league.

First year starter. That is all that needs to be said.

I agree with the last 2.
Here this was his first year under center. Was he perfect? No. Did he suck? Heck no.
Can he improve? Yes.
Will he? I think so.

Whats that have to do with anything? He was on the team for 3 damn years i'm so tired of that. Yet Flacco and Ryan come in and bring their teams to the playoffs with brand new head coaches.

Rodgers is a good qb and does have areas to improve. I posted the 2 articles to try and show that we have weaknesses and trying to get people to take off the goggles and see this.

Oh my GAWD!!!
We have WEAKNESSES!?!? Damn.....i didn't KNOW that!

Oh,.....wait......you don't mean the lousy defense that couldn't stop an opponent EVER in crunch time, or a "special teams" unit that would let the opposition run down the field practically untouched?

Oh......you didn't mean THOSE weaknesses, i'm sure.

Yes i know our defense failed at the end of games but yet we were tied for 3rd with 22 ints and had 6 fumbles with 7 returned for tds which lead the league. So apparently the defense did do some good and helped us win some games also which is pretty much forgotten about. I was a total team failure last year plain and simple.

The special teams had 2 td returns and 6th best in punt return yards.

Mason Crosby was #5 in scoring amongst kickers last year.

So with that you can still say Crosby lost us 2 games but then Rodgers lost us 4 games with his ints in the final 4 minutes of a game.

All in all once again it was a total team failure, and we have alot to improve on.
