TT wanted Losman but buffalo drafted him the pick ahead of geenbay that year. So lets not say it was all because of TT..

Well....it's early......so it's hard to compare and see who will be the long term good QB. Of course i'm hoping it IS our guy. Cause that would mean we remain a strong team with lots of wins!

I have a hard time believing that. They had Matt Hassleback. True, the Packers had Brett, but he was pondering retirement for a few years. Matt was just getting started.

If you could provide a source to this that would be awesome!

It will be interesting to see what happens when he throws a pick.

I think there's a misunderstanding here, Zero. If I'm reading packman31 correctly, he's thinking that Thompson was the Packer GM when Losman was drafted. But that was in 2004 when Mike Sherman was still GM. Supposedly Sherman wanted Losman, though I've never heard any proof of that. Some people thought Sherman wanted Rex Grossman as well. Looks like we may have ended up with the best QB of them all. I like Cutler as well.

Very well could be true. I do remember a lot of pub regarding Losman and that even Brett contacted Losman before the draft. I recall thinking it was a pretty sure thing we were going to get him. I liked the guy.

edit, pfft, we took Ahmad Carroll that year. I said it then and say it now. I'd have rather had Chris Gamble. I should probably look him up to make sure he's still in the NFL, but yeah I liked what I saw from ESPN on Gamble more than the track videos of Carroll.

All I see on the packers are young, intelligent, high character
players who are making a huge impact. Who all get along.
Who all want to be here.

That's my favorite part about this Packer team. Not too many players getting in trouble and they seem like they have a good locker room.

You can bet on that."

Chico is not going to throw a pick until week six. This story will build after week four. People will be asking? Will he ever throw a pick?

I put the Over/Under INT number for Chico this season at 5.

Zero2Cool (25-Feb) : Gutekunst and Jaire Alexander’s agent, John Thornton, are meeting this week in Indianapolis to determine the future of the Packers’ 28-year-
Zero2Cool (25-Feb) : Gutekunst says Mark Murphy told him he can trade their first-round pick despite the draft being in Green Bay.

dfosterf (22-Feb) : I have some doubt about all that
dfosterf (22-Feb) : I read De'Vondre Campbell's tweet this morning (via the New York Post) Florio says that if he invested his earnings wisely, he will be good

Zero2Cool (19-Feb) : NFL informed teams today that the 2025 salary cap will be roughly $277.5M-$281.5M
Zero2Cool (19-Feb) : Los Angeles Chargers are likely to release DE Joey Bosa this off-season as a cap casualty, per league source.
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : If the exploit is not fixed, we'll see tons of "50 top free agents, 50 perfect NFL team fits: We picked where each should sign in March" lo
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : Issue should be solved, database cleaned and held strong working / meeting. Boom!
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : It should be halted now.
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : usually spambots are trying to get traffic to shady websites filled with spyware; the two links being spammed were to the Packers website
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : you know when you put it that way combined with the links it was spamming (to the official Packers website)
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : Yep. You can do that with holding down ENTER on a command in Console of browser
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : even with the rapid fire posts?
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : I'm not certain it's a bot.
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : I've got to go to work soon which is a pity because I'm enthralled by this battle between the bot and Zero
