Thank You "British"

This is a good read.

Now... I personally think the Vikings will be a force to be reckoned with this year. More of a force with Brett, and I believe this will happen. I stated he would be a Viking as soon as the Packers offered him monies to retire after his UN Retirement the first time. However we need not go there.

The fact is... The Vikings have a very good team. The Bears are improved with Cutler. The Lions will not be a push over.

This makes the NFC North the best Division "Competition Wise" in the NFL. That means a great season, a great deal of scoreboard watching every Sunday, and remarkable inter divisional conference games.

The biggest winners of the off season trades, moves, and possible signings in the NFC North are........ Not the Packers... Not Aaron going into his second year as a starter... Not the new Packers "D" and Not Brett? Not The Vikings. Not Cutler. Not Da Bears. Not the Lions....

The biggest winners are..... You and I, and every fan of every team in the NFC North.

It is going to be the greatest year for a very long time, for the fans of The NFC North. It will be great theatre every week.

Then.... It all ends with A Packer Superbowl.

Once again.... 2009/2010 Let's Get This Party Started.

Hey RP, I agree the North is going be pretty tough this year. However I'm not sure we're going to be ahead of the NFC East 'competition wise' just yet.

Their weakest team is the Redskins who may be improved with Haynesworth. The Cowboys are free from the TO distraction and the Giants are many people's SB favourites.

BTW folks i wasn't talking about you folks here as homers posting i was referring to the author of the article being a homer and the people that posted on that page. After all we know there is alot of homers here :p

Granted we had a great offensive year last year, but this year our stats will be down and i will bet anyone on that. Before you try calling me out and think with an open mind before posting a homer comment :p

Ok helping you out here, look at the defenses we will play.

total yards per game defensive ranks

1) Pittsburgh - 237
2) Baltimore - 261
6) Minnesota - 292 (twice)
8) Cowboys - 294
9) Bucs - 306
12) Bengals - 325
13 SF - 326

So by those stats i see our offensive production to drop and it is not because of the lack of players it's just who we play against.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

See this is where you and I part opinions...

I am not sold on Rodgers yet either, aside for a cocky interview or two, I am impressed with what I have seen in Rodgers to date. But I truly want to get another solid to pro bowl level season under his belt until I confirm his place as the starter of this team for the next decade or so...

But I try to refrain from making sarcastic remarks in order to stir the members of the board.. 😉

Haze, we can move the ball on anyone because we are that good on O. What we need to get better at is red zone offense. And by mid season when Capers has this defense firing on all cylinders, we are going to be a dangerous team.

You can call me a homer all you want, hell you can call me shit for brains like Mrs. Dakota when I spend too much time on PH; just don't tell me how much better the other teams in our division are. I don't by that crap, cause we were 2 very makeable field goals away from sweeping them all last year.

I don't think Lombardi is too far off with his assessment of the Packers.

Zero2Cool (10h) : Guys like Kampman, Tim Harris, Al Harris, etc all over 15 years. Hall of Fame is 5 year wait
Zero2Cool (10h) : I guess I see players in Packers Hall come way later
beast (10h) : Yeah, usually teams hall of fames are a much lower bar than the NFL
Zero2Cool (10h) : is it uncommon for Hall before Ring?
Zero2Cool (11h) : S Xavier McKinney named first-team All-Pro by NFLPA
beast (12h) : I missed it, sorry, but he got into the NFL Hall of Fame years before that
Zero2Cool (12h) : Jones took his sweet ole time!
Zero2Cool (12h) : Yeah, he's in the ring of honor, just saw video and his name is up there
Zero2Cool (13h) : Didn't they have a thing in 2023 for Jimmy's ring of honor? I swear I saw it
beast (13h) : Though if they're legitimately trying to re-sign MM, then it makes sense.
beast (13h) : Jerry Jones still hasn't put Jimmy Johnson in the Ring of Honor, but he's in the NFL's Hall of Fame, Jones is petty
Mucky Tundra (8-Jan) : Unless the Cowboys are planning an extension, seems kinda petty
beast (8-Jan) : Cowboys denied Bears request
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : From what I'm reading, MM is under contract through the 14th of January; after that he's free game
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : McCarthy let go or not extended??
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Chicago Bears have asked the Dallas Cowboys permission to interview Mike McCarthy for head coaching vacancy
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : The winners page that is
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : I was not hoping for that. It messes up the page lol
beast (6-Jan) : Thank you, and I was really opening we were going to get 4 or more tied for the top 3.

Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : congrats porky on winning 2023 pick'em! (oops sorry)
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : Packers have $60M+ of 2025 cap space on paper TODAY.
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Missed FG into a Lions TD; that'll do pig, that'll do
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : That might be it for the Vikings
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Oh so the refs do know what intentional grounding is
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : what the hell was that Goff?! Not much pressure and he just air mails it to Harrison
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : They really need to to get rid of the auto first down for illegal contact
Martha Careful (6-Jan) : watching the Vikings and Lions it's understandable why they swept the Packers. So much better product
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Even when GB got pressure he was throwing darts; vs no pressure on that last pass he just air mails an open guy
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : didn't have guys in his face ... pressure makes difference
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Where was this Darnold vs GB?
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : BALL DON'T LIE
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : how was that not a safety? Goff throws it at an offensive lineman
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Zero, I thought that was a given! ;)
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Zero I looked through earlier and noticed the same thing. Bonkers year. I just wonder if beast put any money on games
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : I'm hoping for BLOODBATH. Pummel one another.
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : 8 people in pick'em would have won any year with their total lol
