Actually, if you haven't done any in depth scouting of the guy, and aren't listening to any scouts on him, then it isn't realistic at all, is it?

I think that it is more realistic to say that if a 4th rounder has to be a starter on our team directly, that says more about the state of our O-line than his skill.
The first interior linemen went in the 1st round, if this guy is that good, why did he fall 3 rounds? I can see that he's a steal and a good player, but if he's really that good, more people ought to have picked up on him.
Don't get me wrong, I think he can develop into a great player, but he's just to raw for me right now. He has the same arm size and athleticism as Wells, from what I've seen. Most people don't even project Wells in our current starting line-up. He's strong, and I think that with some coaching and training he can be an good guard, mainly in the running game, but I just don't think he can start this year.
Then again, looking at it in my pessimistic and horribly wrong way, Barbre, Spitz and Moll where great projects in their respective drafts aswell. They're ok, but just look at last years line. No outside pass protection and no inside push for the running game at all.
