A roundup of what's happening on the Green Bay Packers beat.

MINNEAPOLIS -- The last thing the Packers needed heading into Sunday's showdown with the New England Patriots was a setback for Clay Matthews or T.J. Lang.

So they put their star linebacker on a rep count against the Minnesota Vikings and held their breath when their starting right guard came out of the game in the first quarter.

But Matthews' groin injury came through fine, and Lang was able to return despite aggravating his sprained left ankle that has limited him in practice the last three weeks.
