I almost took him out yesterday in PE class. I was subbing in gym as the regular PE teacher had all the 6th graders on their annual bike ride to Florence MT and back. (round trip about 25 miles)
So we are playing Folf an a course around the big playground and I'm teeing off on the 4th tee, which is about 75 feet above the 4th hole. A good throw out over the steep hill will reach the pin area. Guess who's down the hill???? Good 'ol Matt, playing his 10th shot on this par 4 hole. I let fly and instantly I knew this was a dead-on shot..................not at the pin, but at Matt's head.
Hmmmm.....should I yell "FOUR!!!" or not. By the time I decided, it was too late. Matt must have sensed something was heading directly at the left side of his head as he turned at the last second towards us on the tee, and had just enough time to duck slightly, which now caused his Viking cap to become the target. DIRECT HIT! The boy and girl folfing with me congratulated me, high fives went around, and Matt is probably still trying to get the frisbee out of the front of his hat.
Serves him right!
