Ok i haven't read anyone of the other posts yet because im sure it consists of alot of ass kissing for TT.

But as my hero would say "Let's Rock"

little clip of my hero

1st thing that made me laugh was some Wisconsin writer comparing the Packers with the likes of the Pats and Steelers. Steelers have 2 Super Bowls and the Pats have 3 and we have 0 and have 2 out of 4 losing seasons. Get real idiot lol.

Then he turns around and says we have tons of talent and all i can say is , where?

But i did like some of the stuff he wrote like the rebuilding stage is over, well that means we win or Ted Thompson is gone right? He brought an interesting point with Jennings, how will you Ted Thompson lovers feel if he lets Jennings walk. He also stated he pretty much feels Collins and Clifton will be gone the rest who cares, and yet he turns around and says they will be replaced by a reject from the Steelers and some draft picks.

This story if you read the whole thing goes from we are done to rebuilding to at the end saying we will replace players with lesser talent, which imo is rebuilding again. I say this year Mike McCarthy is on the hot seat and if we have a losing season this year and next year Ted Thompson should be gone. Btw i think it would have had more creditability if it was written by a national writer not some Ted Thompson ass kisser from wisconsin.

Ok now i will start reading all the ass kissing posts lol

Ok i have read alot of the posts and people fail to remember that the Pats make trades to get players and sign free agents. Remember Moss and Welker oh don't forget the likes of Thomas and Harrison, What does Ted Thompson do oh ya lets trade for a reject from Pittsburgh and also another reject from Buffalo so i guess we can be classified as running our team like the Pats.

Get real people we are no where near the likes of the Steelers and Pats.

Also remember the statement about not over paying for talent and that crap, well why did Rodgers get the huge contract for playing 7 games? He's TT's son and has to be taken care of.

Al Bundy is more optimistic than this sentiment, imo.

What can Ted do moving forward that would help to ameliorate some of the concerns that you have expressed?

Yep we are just like Pitt and NE ....... Minus the Winning Records and Super Bowls

in a related story

I almost had a threesome last night ...... I was 2 women short.

lol ... that was good.

I don't think the article said we were LIKE Pitt or NE though. I think it was saying we are heading down a path they have paved. Although I don't think NE or Pitt suffered two losing seasons in four years during their 'climb'.

from the article

Thompson's philosophy, and it's followed by other salary-cap savvy teams like the Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers

Instead of blasting the author for what you deem to be an idiot article, why not support your theroy with facts?

But the principle of the way they draft, free agents and re-signing are similar that is what the author was saying..

not that the teams have the same success.. ::roll:

I'm not disputing this, but what year into their regime did they start to attack the FA market? Did they build their teams and then attack the FA?

Zero look at the Pats super bowl seasons and how many were Free agents. I think i did it once and out of the 53 players 27 were free agents. They had a good mix of all the stuff together. As i have stated before you cannot in this day and age build a team strictly through the draft. By the time your draft picks get used to the nfl they are becoming free agents. Perfect example look at the Packers the guys that show some they can play are now becoming free agents and does that mean Ted Thompson let's them walk like the article says?

Maybe the Patriots suck at drafting.

Maybe we don't all have to sit at the cool kid's table at lunch.

Maybe we will be better than the Steelers this year.
