His feet missed it, but that bar starts bouncing when it hits his shins as he didn't get enough height, and even without his junk down below, that's a 50-50 toss up if that bar is staying up there. His junk just took it down to 0.
That being said, for myself, I've very against jock straps. They just fell weird and mentally distract me, and so rarely do your boys get hit. I mean they do, but it's less than once a month getting hit there. Generally speaking, the locker rooms with guys screwing around were generally more dangerous and risky.
Unless you're a RB/FB and taller than the normal guys that your QB is used to handing off too, then it's a handoff to your nuts. But that was also absolutely hilarious, because that guy was a jackass and bully.
But it also adds a bit of humor which can sometimes be needed for practices, as long as it was on purpose and the guy isn't too pissed that he wants to fight about it.
