How do we feel about this folks??

We (I) feel very good about it. I had thought about this sporadically for some time, and really couldn't come up with a better choice. I believe in many ways that this is an upgrade over Mark Murphy, no disrespect really intended towards Mark. Ed Policy is a sharpie, and I have little to no fear of him getting pushed around as some sort of new guy by the "other" owners, for example. I think he is by far the least controversial choice for the fans that take the time to investigate the issue and reflect upon what options were avaiable.

Is that a universal or whole life Policy

How about this one from a comment on CHTV:
"I'm sure his whole family is proud of him, but it is widely held that his brother Honesty is the best..."

I would add to or dispute that comment by pointing out you really want a lawyer kinda guy in the position, so I would really call into question his brother's qualifications in the first place. 🤪

More than likely a 15 year term life policy that can be expanded to 17 if both parties agree.

After they brought in Ed as COO in 2018 I thought he might be tabbed to replace Mark.
It provides a great deal of stability.
He has worked on the Titletown project.
He's hand a hand overseeing many of the non football aspects of the organization.
There won't be as much of a learning curve for him as there would be for someone else.
Having legal and accounting degrees is an asset.
If he stays until 68-70 he will have been president of the organization for 15-17 years. Murphy is finishing up his 17th year as president.
