Gentlemen,
I have attempted to consolidate the PFF and Walter Football evaluations of the top OTs in the draft for your consideration.

The grades, and the order is from PFF although I don't necessarily agree with them.
After considering the likely draft scenarios, I believe we will trade up and take Kingsley Suamataia from BYU in round 2, unless Fautanu falls to us, or close to us and we trade up a few slots to get him in round 1.

1. T JOE ALT, NOTRE DAME PFF BIG BOARD RANK: 5
The NFL draft is all about finding players with size, speed and strength who have the IQ to use those traits optimally. That's Joe Alt, and that should spell a top-10 selection as a future long-term tackle.
Height: 6-8.
Weight: 321.
40 Time: 5.05.
3/9/24: Alt extended his starting streak over the course of 2023 and played well for Notre Dame. He is big with long arms, has good strength in the upper body, uses his hands well, and utilizes good technique. Alt was consistent and productive throughout his college career. However, he has issues with his anchor because he is stiff and doesn’t bend well. That lack of bend is a challenging issue given how tall Alt is. Alt could be a Mike McGlinchey-type tackle in the NFL, and he is a safe pick to turn into a good pro starter.

2. T TALIESE FUAGA, OREGON STATE PFF BIG BOARD RANK: 12
Ultimately, Fuaga's tape is that of a starting NFL offensive lineman, whether that is at tackle or guard. He brings the powerful mentality needed to stand out in the trenches. I believe he has the adequate length and foot speed, good offensive line IQ and elite strength to succeed at tackle and get a shot there as a first-round pick.
Height: 6-5. Weight: 333.
40 Time: 5.13.
Projected Round (2024): 1-2.
3/9/24: Fuaga has gotten some media hype as a potential first-round pick for the 2024 NFL Draft. He was a starter and solid player for the Beavers over the last couple of seasons. In speaking to some NFL team sources, some felt he was a legit first-round pick as a starting right tackle while a few teams had him graded as a guard prospect for Round 2 of the 2024 NFL Draft. Fuaga is viewed as a safe pick to be a solid starter at right tackle or guard. Given his short – 33.38 inches – arms, Fuaga might end up moving inside over time.

3. T TROY FAUTANU, WASHINGTON PFF BIG BOARD RANK: 13
Fautanu is a true athlete of an offensive lineman with starting-caliber traits for center or guard. His movement skills would be a big plus in a zone-blocking scheme.
Height: 6-3.
Weight: 317.
40 Time: 5.01.
Projected Round (2024): 1-2.
3/9/24: Fautanu was a very reliable and steady left tackle for Michael Penix Jr. in 2023. Fautanu became the starting left tackle in 2022 and was a consistent contributor for Washington. Multiple NFL team sources say they like Fautanu and see him as an early-rounder. Some project him as a second-round pick for the 2024 NFL Draft with a potential move to guard because of his height limitations. Other sources think Fautanu could sneak into the first round.

4. T OLUMUYIWA FASHANU, PENN STATE PFF BIG BOARD RANK: 18
Fashanu is not only incredibly talented but will also be one of the youngest prospects in the 2024 class. He is the type of athlete in the trenches you draft in the first round, even if he needs to get stronger to live up to his very high potential.
Height: 6-6.
Weight: 312.
40 Time: 5.11.
Projected Round (2024): 1.
3/9/24: Fashanu (6-6, 321) has sufficient size and length for the NFL to make it tough for defenders to get by him. However, he is not an elite athlete on the edge with rare movement skills or quickness. He can move defenders up front in the ground game, but he is not all that nasty in his style of play. Fashanu looks like a future starting NFL left tackle, but not an elite one. He does not look like a top-10 prospect like a Penei Sewell.

5. T JC LATHAM, ALABAMA PFF BIG BOARD RANK: 21
Latham is in the mold of an offensive lineman who does not come around often. He will be just 21 years old during his rookie season, yet he has two years of starting experience in the SEC. Despite garnering 18 penalties over the past two years and having room to improve in some anticipation parts of the position, Latham is a first-round trench player due to his rare combination of size, speed and refinement.
Height: 6-6.
Weight: 342.
Projected 40 Time: 5.30.
Projected Round (2024): 1.
3/9/24: Latham played very well in 2023. There is no doubt that Latham is a powerful player with the ability to generate movement at the point of attack. He makes winning blocks look easy thanks to his serious strength and ability to sustain. However, Latham is more of a right tackle than a left tackle for the NFL given his feet and movement skills. Still, Latham was rock solid in pass protection for Alabama in 2023.

6. T AMARIUS MIMS, GEORGIA PFF BIG BOARD RANK: 23
Mims is not a polished prospect — a level below former teammate and first-round pick Broderick Jones — but he brings sky-high potential. He'll take some developing, but trench players built like this don't make it out of the top 50.
Height: 6-7.
Weight: 340.
40 Time: 5.07.
Projected Round (2024): 1-2.
3/9/24: In terms of physical talent, Mims would be up there with the likes of Marvin Harrison Jr. as having the best pure skill set of all the players in the potential 2024 NFL Draft. However, some NFL team sources said they believe Mims’ lack of playing experience and having missed time with injuries in 2023 could cause him to be a pick in the back half of the first round in the 2024 NFL Draft. That view was given more credence when Mims injured his hamstring and was unable to finish the workout at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine. Some team sources view Mims as a boom-or-bust prospect.

7. T GRAHAM BARTON, DUKE PFF BIG BOARD RANK: 24
Barton is a tough and well-moving lineman with strong hands and a mean streak in the run game. His best position in the NFL is likely at center, as he brings starting-caliber traits there.
Height: 6-4.
Weight: 329.
40 Time: 5.04.
Projected Round (2024): 1-2.
3/9/24: Suamataia was very good in the first half of 2023, but his tape late in the year was not as good and his Senior Bowl performance was inconsistent. Team sources said they believe Suamataia is a late first- to early second-round pick. He has superb speed and athleticism for an edge blocker of his size. Overall, Suamataia is reliable in pass protection while also showing toughness as a run blocker. He could stand to add some lower body strength, but he has a lot of upside and could be a very good starter at left or right tackle in the NFL. The cousin of elite Lions tackle Penei Sewell, Suamataia has the pedigree and a ton of potential.

8. T TYLER GUYTON, OKLAHOMA PFF BIG BOARD RANK: 29
Guyton is raw in how to win with technique at the position, but there aren't many offensive linemen who have a better athletic mold. He has starting-caliber NFL gifts but must eliminate negatives in both the run and pass games to succeed at the next level.
Height: 6-7.
Weight: 328.
40 Time: 5.19.
Projected Round (2024): 1-2.
3/9/24: Guyton is an athletic freak with a special combination of size, speed and extreme length. Team sources say Guyton has all the ability but needs to get more consistent. He has a lot of upside to grow as he gains experience. Multiple team sources say Guyton has first-round potential and think he could be a riser for the 2024 NFL Draft. However, multiple team evaluators said they had maturity concerns with Guyton, but he interviewed well to the combine to help ease those concerns.

9. T JORDAN MORGAN, ARIZONA PFF BIG BOARD RANK: 41
Morgan needs to get stronger, whether he's at tackle or guard in the NFL, but he has desirable athletic traits with fast hands and feet that bolster his starting-caliber potential.
Height: 6-4.
Weight: 312.
40 Time: 5.04.
Projected Round (2024): 1-2.
3/9/24: Morgan put together an impressive senior year to help himself with NFL scouts. Morgan has good size, including length, height and weight, plus athleticism and quickness. He was a mainstay for the Wildcats as a starter over the past three seasons. In 2022, he allowed one sack over 670 total snaps. Morgan was solid at the Senior Bowl. He is a good athlete with quickness to be an edge blocker. However, Morgan is lacking strength, power, physicality, violence and nastiness. He could be more of a finesse left tackle in the NFL.

10. T KINGSLEY SUAMATAIA, BYU PFF BIG BOARD RANK: 45
Suamataia is a dream prospect to draft and develop somewhere on day two. I worry about him being baptized by fire if drafted in the first round and called upon to start right away.
